He's done great so for. Greg McMullen @IamHuskers90 Follow I left Ohio to come to Nebraska #BECAUSEOFBO Bane @NathanGerry Follow He's the reason we came here Davis and his twin brother Carlos have been committed to the Huskers since March 1. There was concern at their house that their scholarships to Nebraska won’t be honored moving forward. They were also sad to see Pelini go. “We’re still not understanding it,” Tracy Davis, the twins mom said on speaker phone with her sons in the room. “We haven’t had time to think. I’m still in shock. I don’t know what to say. “I liked every coach on that staff.” The Huskers currently have 14 commits in the class-of-2015, a class that ranks No. 30 nationally according to 247Sports and No. 5 in the Big Ten. “I’m still committed to Nebraska right now,” Top247 cornerback and class jewel Eric Lee said. "We’ll probably discuss things further with my family. “It’s saddening news. I know a lot of people have a different perception on Bo and people say don’t judge a book by its cover, Bo is passionate on the field and cares about his players a lot, and I was definitely looking forward to playing for him.” bud kilmer @Kid_Bach 22m22 minutes agoOmaha, NE Haven't seen any players on my timeline happy about this move. You know, the guys that were playing for him. Cole Pensick @CPensick62 46m46 minutes ago Name one person who wants to come into this type of environment. Great choice Nebraska Zach Potter @ZachPotterTE 27m27 minutes ago Sure hope we can find a coach who can win 10 games every year for 7 years since 9 wasn't good enough? Careful what you wish for people. Fake Coach Miles @FakeCoachMiles 26m26 minutes ago You just know that somewhere in Nebraska some guy just stood up in church and announced Bo's firing. #huskers 247SportsCrystalBall @247CrystalBall 27m27 minutes ago 2 Huskers commits already have #CrystalBall flip predictions to OSU (Jurkovic) & Vols (Bussey) http://bit.ly/1FGI9QM Quote Link to comment
True2tRA
It is what it is. Nebraska moves forward. Whoever decides to come along will be glad they did. Accepting a back seat to Wisconsin and Minnesota is not where Nebraska belongs. Wisconsin has made it more than clear that they did and would continue to own this division. Quote Link to comment
Danny Bateman
Pulling off a bandaid. I understand being upset, but all those players and ex-players are reacting emotionally, and understandably. They are setting aside for the moment that Bo has had seven years to make the progress we demand at Nebraska- winning a championship- and has failed to do so. Quote Link to comment
Kelly Oehm
I'm not happy. I really liked Bo and this was not a positive action. Bo was a dedicated coach who I think had a true commitment for the Huskers. Bring him back while you maybe still can. This is a sad day Quote Link to comment
74Hunter
Sweet, looks like our recruiting class is fixing to implode. Great plan. Quote Link to comment
Dbqgolfer
Sweet, looks like our recruiting class is fixing to implode. Great plan. I was on the fence about firing Bo, but this is silly. Anytime you fire a coach it's going to look like the recruiting class is going to implode. Let's see how this all looks in a few weeks. Quote Link to comment
Hedley Lamarr
If we knock it out of the park the commits aren't going anywhere. Heck if we hire frost do you think players like Bussey or Morgan leave? Oregon O show Quote Link to comment
Moiraine
Sweet, looks like our recruiting class is fixing to implode. Great plan. That was going to happen regardless of when Bo was fired or moved on. Quote Link to comment
