ndobney
Personally I am really glad that MSU beat mechicken, but for Boldin to be ejected for the hit on the MSU QB is so far beyond stupid it makes the tuck rule look like a great call. I encourage all true Nebraska fans to email the big ten and complain about this crap they have the nerve to call refs. I mean seriously at what point does the big ten take some kind of responsibility for the dog sh#t they are putting on the field. We as husker fans have seen some crap, but this call demand someone gets fired. Quote Link to comment
NUance
This thread seems like a B1G Ten topic. So I moved it to the B1G Ten forum. Carry on. Quote Link to comment
nic
Yup. Dumb call. Lots of them in this game. Lots of overturns without the evidence. Quote Link to comment
desertshox
dont they review all those calls to see if the player should be ejected? i dont see how anyone could miss him being blocked into the qb. Quote Link to comment
Landlord
The rule is written where you can't review whether or not the 'targeting' contact was the result of a qb sliding or not. You can only review if the contact itself meets the criteria. The replay ref's hands are tied in that position. Egregious slight on the play to be sure, but according to the rulebook it was justified. That's what sucks. Quote Link to comment
