Mavric
Interesting how two of our five honorees had many people wanting them basically off the team at points this year. Quote Link to comment
cm husker
Congrats to these kids. A real shame that some others didn't get the honors that I think they would have but for the disruption of a staff change and a losing record. Honors tend to follow team performance (weirdly). NU and Indiana being the exceptions this year. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
For reference, here are the current Huskers who made the lists last year (they added a third-team this year): Coaches: Collins - 2nd Team Foltz - Honorable Mention Gerry - Honorable Mention Lewis - Honorable Mention Media: Gerry - 2nd Team Collins - Honorable Mention Lewis - Honorable Mention Quote Link to comment

QMany
I don't know how they compare statistically to the rest of the conference, but I am surprised we didn't have a wide receiver honored. 1 Quote Link to comment

I don't see how more defenders should have been honored, given how craptastic the D was all year. Quote Link to comment

He should be a first teamer I would think. Quote Link to comment

EDIT - Had the two categories mixed up. Now changed. Quote Link to comment

But, Burbridge from Michigan State is a total stud. Jehu Chesson has slightly better stats than Westy, and leads the league in TD receptions. Maybe Westy can sneak in at 2nd team. MichiganDad3
It was great to see Brown turn it around. He really looked good at the end of the season. Quote Link to comment
