David Beaty's contract extension at Kansas (through 2021) includes a $100,000 bonus for each win against a Power 5 opponent and $50,000 for any other victory. He will receive $200,000 if Kansas reaches a bowl game. His salary increases to $1.6 million and goes up by $100,000 each year. Beaty is 2-22 at the school but last month led Kansas to its first win over Texas since 1938 and snapped a 19-game Big 12 losing streak.
