hskrfan4life
These are the types of games we need to be winning to get back to be a power. Including myself, fans getting after umps, bench of Wichita State and their players. 1 Quote Link to comment

hskrfan4life
Hood walks in a run 6-4 Wichita State. Erstad is extremely upset. 11 walks as a team. 1 Quote Link to comment
huskerfan13
What an absolute joke of a performance today. Never seen so many walks by a Division 1 pitching staff. It's literally like they aren't even trying to hit the zone. Unreal collapse after Burkamper started off so hot. Quote Link to comment
hskrfan4life
13 walks, 10-4 Wichita State lead 1 Quote Link to comment

I wouldnt qualify it a hot start he had 5 walks himself, but we had our chances as well. And if you can't throw a strike you ain't getting the close ones. Quote Link to comment

I know but he also retired 8 batters in a row and had like 5 or 6 K's. After he walked 3 in a row the entire pitching staff decided it was a good idea to continue the trend. Also doenst help when we still can't score more than 1 run with a Bases Loaded No Out situation. Just a bad day all around against a bad team. Disappointing. Quote Link to comment
huskerfan13
I wouldn't be surprised if they reach 20 walks by the end of the game. Has to be some sort of record. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
Usually doesn't work out very well when the other team has over twice as many runs as you have hits. Quote Link to comment
HuskersNC949597
While the good thing about baseball is you can come back the next day and redeem yourself, this is still alarming as hell and I don't think should be happening in year five Quote Link to comment
