Two of his classes were in the low 40s/high 30s by one recruitik site. The others, including the class as of the time he was fired, were top 20, including top 10. This also was with an aging staff that had more than a couple guys who were retired on active duty. That '03 staff was extremely dynamic: gill, brown, sanders, cotton, pelini, etc. But we s***canned them anyway because of a personal grudge fed by an enormous ego.

 

"Frank can't recruit" is a myth promulgated by Pederson, his lackeys and the fans that want to "evolve Nebraska football into the 21st century."

 

It's without basis, especially when you look at the talent Callahan inherited, particularly on D. Too bad Frank didn't know he was going to have his throat cut by the scourge that was Pedeson, or he would have left some pro style guys too.

Thank you. As I said, two "poor" classes per the rankings. The rest were top 15 or so.
