AR Husker Fan Posted June 11, 2006 Share Posted June 11, 2006 I loved the toughness and desire - but ultimately he seemed to do the Huskers more harm than good. In the NFL, it's a question whether you can play, not whether you're a good citizen, and the guy can play when healthy, so I suspect he'll have a good career - unless he beats someone to death. Granted, he is a football player and loves the game, but not playing last year and getting paid had to be 100 times better than getting kicked off of two football teams ( I am including Oregon even though he wasn't really on the team) and having no income at all. I wouldn't be too sure of that - while the NFL has seemed to reduced its tolerance for bad characters, the fact remains that talent will get you a lot more than just a second chance...
