Daniel Brothers’ Rotation

It might also had been an issue with having the healthy horses even put in, in those situations.  His numbers will be much better this year Daniels brother here, as long as guys stay healthy.

Not only numbers due to injury, but there just weren’t a lot of players they trusted to know the defense.

The best thing Chins has done this spring is acknowledge where the coaches themselves were weak. Underestimating the diversity of offenses in the Big 10 vs the homogenous nature of the AAC, for instance. You can get by with a lot fewer personnel packages in a conference like that. I really like them seeking out a new defensive line coach that not only can teach his position but that can bring in new ideas for the defense overall. Focusing on a regular goal line period during practice, those sorts of things.

I think one of the best things about Frost coming back, specifically, is we have a coaching staff that knows the expectations. It’ll be interesting to see if that acknowledgment produces results.

Oh I think it will.  The fact that the staff is reevaluating themselves and making changes is huge.  They are willing to adapt and create a monster the Big Ten will have to continue to adapt to itself.
