Well its Sat. morning and my furnace has decided to stop working. Naturally we have one of those cold fronts that has come down from our worst enemy, Canada. The beginning of the weekend so a repairman will rape us on the bill. Just another thing to file under what F'ing next. Well at least I'm not a Boilermaker fan.

Well the next, "Oh $hit, what next?" arrived this morning. Last weekend no heat. This morning, no hot water. This house has now cost me $9,500. (hail damage), $8,500. (Furnace and AC, its 27 years old and a change was needed, but still...) and $900. (water heater, 13 years old but again, but still...). Why does it all have to happen at once? I guess when $hit starts rolling down hill it just picks up speed. One good thing though, the Huskers won't get beat this week.

Thanks deeds. The fixes are done and thank God for homeowners and auto insurance. With the hail damage to our 3 vehicles the total since July 1 comes $28,800. Insurance pays for a little more than 65%. There will also be some rebates and tax credits coming on the furnace and water heater and as I said before roof,

furnace and water heater were all due to be updated. Almost feels like a new house and after a new coat of paint next summer it will be dam close. Life goes on, its great to be a Husker fan and I can still buy 'Stones for 50 cents a can.
