huskernumerouno
has anyone got any ideas about what kind of impact this kid will have this year. Quote Link to comment
gamecocks
I look for him to be the fourth DE in the rotation behind Carriker, Moore, and Turner. He will probally see quite a bit of time on special teams and hopefully block a kick or two again this year. Quote Link to comment
huskernumerouno
Those blocks were huge. I think we will se a push from him for playing time. Nothing in stone but I just feel he is going to start closing the gap between special team star and playing a good amount of minutes Quote Link to comment
ttheKid1*18
Aren't the coaches looking at him for maybe TE. I'm not for sure, but I could have sworn that during the spring the coaches were talking about him playing there. Quote Link to comment
DJR313
I think he is pretty much set at DE. The kid has gotten huge over the past 2 years. A little over 2 years ago, he had never hit the weights. He is now listed at 6'7" 275 lbs. Quote Link to comment
ttheKid1*18
Wow. He could end up dominating once he learns the little things about the position. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
The depth chart has him #2 behing Carriker. I think he'll grow into the Monster type player Carriker is. Depends on his devotion to the weight room. Quote Link to comment
ForeverRed
During Big 12 Media Days Carriker has said that he is trying to work closely with Zach Potter to help bring him to the next level. I have good feeling about him and I am sure he will assume the roll with great confidence. Quote Link to comment
husker rob
that is good news, Hopefully he will learn alot from Adam and get some good playing time. With Zach on one end and Turner on the other end I think that NU is going to become DE U once again Quote Link to comment
ttheKid1*18
Our LB's and DE's now will have tremendous depth, with the interior line being the only question of the front seven. I think the interior guys will be fine though, and will be making plays a lot as well. This defense is going to be scary, especially with Potter getting the help from Carriker. Quote Link to comment
