ttheKid1*18
It's all right. Just pointing something out. Otherwise good post. They could cause for trouble with all their passing and the lack of Zach Bowman. Quote Link to comment
gamecocks
Here are a few stats and key players that Tech will be coming back with and coming to town with on Sept. 2nd. Offense Per Game National Rank"05" Scoring 28.7 ppg 46 Rushing 147.6ypg 53 Passing 219.1ypg 66 Total 366.6ypg 63 Defense Per Game National Rank"05" Scoring 25.6ppg 58 Rushing 133.2ypg 37 Passing 248.1ypg 86 Total 3813ypg 66 Tech returns eight starters from a year ago with six of them being on the offensive side of the ball. They will be breaking in a new quarterback with JR. Zac Champion, RS FR. Michal Mosley, and JUCO Joe Danna. Their quarterbacks have thrown a total of eight passes at the D1 level. Tech's strength may just be in the backfield where they have a trio of backs that each provide something different to their offense. Defensively, Tech will be in the middle of rebuilding their entire front seven where they lost their top five interior linemen and three of their top four linebackers. Their secondary only returns one starter but have seniors to replace and fill in to start the season. Tech's kicker lead the WAC in scoring and field goals made per game, they also return their top two kick returners. Overall, Tech will be in the processes of rebuilding and it will not be a pleasant spot to be breaking in a new quarterback in Lincoln. This team is in for a long game with some many new players in the starting lineup. The Big Red Machine should roll. GO BIG RED! Quote Link to comment

Hopefully they don't torch us like in 98. Quote Link to comment
GSG
Good deal. I haven't seen a good stomping by the Huskers since the 92(?) ASU game and the 2000 Iowa game. Quote Link to comment
ttheKid1*18
The last huge win I remember was in 02 vs Arizona State. I think it was 48-10. I remember thinking after that game that our D was gonna be the reason why we were good. Haha. They ended up doing horrible and we went 7-7. Bad memories. Quote Link to comment
GSG
The cool thing though, the ASU players were staying at our hotel. My cousin and I played some games in the arcade with them. Quote Link to comment

ttheKid1*18
Hell yeah! I think we played DigDug for like 2 hours straight. That is classic. Maybe the L Tech players will be up for some digdug at this years game. Quote Link to comment
GSG
Well hopefully they'll be digging themselves out of a 3 TD+ deficit by halftime. Quote Link to comment
ttheKid1*18
Well hopefully they'll be digging themselves out of a 3 TD+ deficit by halftime. As long as we beat them by 4 or 5 tds I will be fine. I want to see an offensive explosion by this team, and I think it will happen a lot this year, starting with La Tech. Quote Link to comment

lo10002006
on top of this, their fans are nothing more than town drunks with little or no reguard for the spirit, or fundamental respect of what makes college football so great in other parts of the country. Quote Link to comment
TrueHuskerFan
Speaking of fans, any predictions on how many will travel to Lincoln? I can't imagine fans from a lower program coming so far knowing their team is going to get dominated. Quote Link to comment
