huskeraddict
I'm psyched about this. I was worried about the post-Taylor era (even when Beck was here) but with a guy like this coming in, I'm pumped about '07. Quote Link to comment
KansasHusker
Nobody celebrate yet... That blows. Let's hope he still keeps us in the lead at least. Quote Link to comment
herbers42
Keller to the NU Program is huge....1 year or not, they kid can step and perform under big game pressure. He has NFL talent and will be in the league playing on Sundays..This will put fear throughout the Big 12 next season!!!! I will personally go down to Lincoln and throw out the red carpet for Mr. Keller. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
No matter his decision we'll know soon rather than have to wait months until signing day for the other recruited players. Quote Link to comment
Huskrz65
Oh, I love this too... "Harrison Beck went AWOL during Nebraska's preseason camp and transferred to North Carolina State." Quote Link to comment
KansasHusker
Rivals teaser: "Keller has been in contact with Nebraska and Arizona State has granted him a release to NU if wishes to make it official."  rivals.com  Now go make it official Keller! Quote Link to comment

muzicman0
Zac Taylor came in and learned the offense and got in a rythem in about half a season. Keller will have a whole year to sit and learn the system before he actually will see any game time. As far as the offenses go, ASU runs a somewhat similiar offense but they take way more chances downfield. Not quite as many slants and quick outs as we saw Taylor throw last year. Exactly what I was thinking...If Zac can pick it up in half a season, we should be good. Although, nothing replaces in game experience! mm0 Quote Link to comment
Jarred04
the guys on the texas link seem to think this is a great decision for Keller, and have had pretty nice things to say about Keller and our situation next year....especially for a rival. Quote Link to comment
zoogs
I'm more on board with the whole Keller idea now; obviously when teams switch quarterbacks they usually have a dropoff, somewhat, whereas with Keller, we'd be rolling along with no loss in momentum at all. I don't understand why he would even consider staying at ASU and redshirting before transferring next year to play immediately though - as suggested in the article - why wouldn't you redshirt at a school where you'd pick up the system before you're sent out to play? Â Anyway. Let's hope for the best, but remember, if he decides on another school, it's not the end of the world. *crosses fingers and hopes we land Keller* Quote Link to comment

What ESPN was thinking reporting all this stuff is beyond me...I do not know what they were thinking. Quote Link to comment
ttheKid1*18
I don't understand at all why he would stay and redshirt, then go to another school. If he wanted to play he would have to go to a D-II route, and that won't help with his NFL hopes. At least sCUm and OU are not on his list. Quote Link to comment
KansasHusker
At least sCUm and OU are not on his list. Oklahoma, UTEP, and Iowa are schools interested in him. I thought CU was as well. Quote Link to comment
ttheKid1*18
"Keller, who was named the Sun Devils' starting quarterback on Friday, only to lose the job to sophomore Rudy Carpenter two days later, had also considered transferring to Louisville or UTEP, not Colorado or Oklahoma, as reported elsewhere, a source said." Â That's what the new article from ESPN said. Quote Link to comment
gamecocks
The reason he might be saying he is in interested in staying at ASU to redshirt, is if the starter gets hurt early on in the season. He could burn his redshirt and lead ASU and be their hero of sorts. This is just a crazy reason, don't know if it is even in Keller's mind. Quote Link to comment
