Should have just lost every remaining vote from Hawaii they were hoping to get in the next elections.

So help me out - is it ok to just say "no" when these are requested?

WTF is wrong with people that they don't see that they are hiding information. This is flagrant.

I think any Democratic or Republican administration would do the same. "Unless you have a subpoena, don't waste our time. Why should we help smear our own?"

If true, this is a sign of incompetence.

https://twitter.com/voxdotcom/status/857620364352008192

There’s a time-tested way for White House aides or other administration officials to roll a president into approving a preferred policy of theirs while letting him think he’s still in charge. They present him with three options: one of which is obviously too extreme, one of which is far too weak, and the third of which is just right. This last one, not so coincidentally, is what the advisers wanted all along. Clever, right?

Now, according to a new report by Politico’s Josh Dawsey, Shane Goldmacher, and Alex Isenstadt, President Donald Trump’s aides added a further innovation by simplifying this process even further. Why give the president three options, after all, when you can just give him one?

They should just give him a coloring book or a paint by numbers to keep him busy. He can still sign his name to them and sit at his big boy desk and show them off.

The problem with this is, his advisors need to be really good or we are in trouble.

With who is sitting in that picture, it makes me extremely nervous.

Holy moly, all this time, Flynn was OBAMA'S FAULT.

Obama administration reviewed Mike Flynn's security clearance, Trump WH says

The White House today attempted to shift blame for the vetting of President Trump's former national security adviser, Mike Flynn, to the Obama administration.

"His [security] clearance was last reissued by the Obama administration in 2016 with full knowledge of his activities that occurred in 2015," press secretary Sean Spicer told reporters this afternoon.

When asked whether Flynn would still have his job if he hadn't been fired by the president in February, Spicer said, "I will just say they think the president made the right call at the right time and it's clearly paid off."

Spicer also said the Trump administration welcomes the Department of Defense investigation of Flynn.

Flynn, who was President Trump's first national security adviser, was fired after it was discovered that he misled Vice President Mike Pence about conversations he had with a Russian official.

Documents released in March showed Flynn was paid a total of $56,200 in 2015 by three Russian firms owned by or closely tied to the Kremlin.

How exactly does hiring someone who never should have been hired and then firing them when the media gets ahold of those horrible illegal leaks......pay off?

Full quote is a hell of a thing.

At one point, organizers grabbed a reporter’s phone and backpack to try to force that person to leave. Later, as investors started leaving the ballroom, organizers physically surrounded attendees to stop them from giving interviews.

Asked why reporters were asked to leave, a public-relations representative, who declined to identify herself, said simply, “This is not the story we want.”

Agreed, zoogs. Lands with a thud.

Isn't this quite literally the definition of quid pro quo? Give us your money, and we'll pull some strings to get you preferential treatment for an exclusive type of visa? The only reason Kushner can offer that at all is because of his position in this administration.

I'm curious why the same people who would argue with me until they're blue in the face about the Clinton Foundation or uranium or what have you don't seem to bat an eye.

Yep, this is the best law man in the nation. I mean, 4 people died in his jail including a newborn and a man who died of thirst, but that's just part of the job, right? And then threatening the medical examiner not to reveal the 4 deaths, that's just a perk.

From your first link.  I think we know how he interviewed for the job.

WASHINGTON ― About a week after Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke visited the Fox News set in New York to appear on the shows “Outnumbered” and “Fox and Friends,” but before he set sail on a National Review cruise, a court-appointed medical monitor visited the jail Clarke is charged with running.

Can't put Lieberman at the FBI when he works for the law firm Trump is hiring for his legal defense.  Why would anyone think that would fly?

Lieberman was grossly unqualified to lead the FBI anyway. I always got the feeling he was just being considered to maximize liberal rage.

This is objectively a good development.

[Trump's nominee] is grossly unqualified to lead the position he/she is nominated for.
