    Riley will only have one record better than any of your hypothetical "flop" years for Frost. Hoping for a better coach sounds better than hoping for a win against Purdue. We as fans can take a 10-14 point loss to the Ohio States and Michigan's of the world and one unexpected loss here or there.

    Had to read that second sentence 3 or 4 times. Riley is 0-1 against the MAC and a TD win against a Sun Belt team who lost by 3 TDs against SMU. I'm not saying Riley is bad, but let's be realistic about him.

    I didn't hear the segment, but the fan is what keeps college football and sports what they are. You can have sports without the fans, but the compensation for players and the university dwindles, and it's the same for professional sports. I do think at times we need to remember as fans that these are 18-23 year olds and they hear our criticism.
