You give out the Blackshirts when that defense takes the field, you throw the bones, and get shivers up your back because you know what kind of force they are. Not when you throw the bones and get sick to your stomach wondering how many yards the other team will gain per snap. IMO

Your Dline will always be slower than a 4.8 QB. Unless you have a guy like SUHperman If you don't square up and make the play- arm tackle, or only rely on coverage sacks vs QBs with wheels, the frustrations will continue.

transition? DE's getting sucked inside are DE's getting sucked inside. Spread or Power Big12 or Big10. If Crick turns a play in from the middle to the outside- he has done his job. If DE turns the QB back inside he has done his job. If the DE gets stuck inside- it opens a huge lane and makes rFR QBs look Heisman like. Its called assignment football. Also, they are just as unfamiliar with us as we are them. We are a young team Secondary to Head Coach experience. Lets give these guys some time to grow.

2 years with possibly the hardest schedule in college football history and some of you expect to win a title----> with sophmores and freshman. loosen up. Enjoy these historic years and if at the end of the year we can say, "This team is better than it was on day 1", I would say Pelini and staff has done their jobs.

Senior - All-American? First Rounder? Tyler Moore gets pulled for a false start- but how many times will we have to watch Crick run like a bull past the play this year? He deserves a "C'mon Man!".- Break it down, get your head on a swivel- and make the play! Day 1 Crick, Day 1! The kid is amazing- yet he lacks the big plays I would expect from a Senior- a lot like Paul last year. .
