  1. And how did we score less than triple digits?
  2. The playoff is why I care about the bowls. The BIG has to be perceived as a top conference. Winning bowl games helps build the BIG brand.
  3. I am very interested to see how bowl games turn out this season. IMO, the SEC is over rated and the BIG is under rated. Minnesota and Wisconsin started off the bowl season with convincing wins for the BIG. What are your predictions for the rest of the games? I can see the BIG going 7-2. Below are my predictions based on very little research. OSU - Washington: OSU win Penn State - Kentucky: PSU win Iowa - Miss State: Toss Up Northwestern - Utah: Northwestern win MSU - Oregon: Oregon win Michigan - Florida: Michigan win Purdue - Auburn: Toss Up
  4. Join the BIG, and lets have ND vs Nebraska every year! Merry Christmas to you too. Enjoy the holidays.
  5. Norte Dame always plays a cupcake schedule. Michigan, northwestern and Syracuse were their toughest games this year. And ND has decided to quit playing Michigan every year, although they are happy to play state annually.
  6. If team loses one game and doesn’t win there division, they also get a bye. No team should get an at large bid without winning their division.
  7. My point is that 4.6 is really fast, and we would want this guy if the time is accurate. Who knows, he may be better than Burkhead.
  8. Burkhead ran a 4.73 forty. If the kid really runs 4.6, take him.
  9. If McCaffrey redshirts, I would like to see him get plenty of playing time in four early games, so we have a capable backup if AM gets hurt.
  10. If they all stay at QB. One could change positions. Nebraska had a QB playing DB on a MNC team, and Bobby Newcombe switched to receiver.
  11. Not similar at all. One QB leaves shortly before the start of the season, robbing a scholarship from a deserving walk-on. The other QB leaves before the start of the spring semester.
  12. No kidding, the angles were terrible. I like the replays in tennis. Absolutely no doubt on the calls.
  13. You are correct. Some ref must have been paid well. No way there is indisputable evidence there.
  14. I agree, and I have always preferred the best OL to the best RB or QB. In the mid 90's we had all three with depth.
  15. And I wonder how many voters have not seen a single game of some of the candidates.
  16. Brook was not much of a drop off. He is as responsible as TF for the MNC in 94.
  17. I think it had something to do with being the best "yes man"
  18. Can we reach 85 even if we offer 30? It looks like some walk-ons will be rewarded with a scholarship.
  19. If grades had nothing to do with it, and if he was low on the depth chart at OLB, he would have made a nice project for DE. At 6-6 and 220, another 30 pounds would have given us a very athletic DE.
  20. How many college football teams have a domed stadium? That may be a major recruiting factor.
  21. How pitiful that the opposition knew they could get the 1st down if we played that stupid scheme.
  22. The loss of Morgan and Ozigbo are enormous, but I have faith in the offensive staff. As you said, defense next year is unknown. At a minimum, we improve by 4 games just because of a much weaker schedule, and no lightening for game 1. I am hoping we can blow out some early opponents and get Mcaffrey some reps in case we need him.
  23. Why did our D-line get blown off the ball so often and allow mediocre to bad rushing teams to have record days? Is it poor athletes, or is it too easy for 5 players on the OL to push around 3 DL? When you allow the opposition to run the ball, everything else gets easier (slant to the slot).
