  1. Yeah, eh, but all one super-uniform color screams "astroturf" too Alternating color screams mowing in different directions, just like the grass on a baseball field. NOT artificial turf.
  2. +1 I agree with everything you're saying. Tommie was the icing on that cake. Joe Daily=Joke Jammal Lord= Joke
  3. If Billy Sims is #12, then Johnny Rogers should be #12A.
  4. #1. Archie Griffin. The guy has two Heisman Trophies. Two.
  5. Happy Birthday ZRod!! Don't do anything I would do, and if you decide too, name him after me.
  6. These are sweet. The only problem you will have is the cost of the die cut involved. I actually work for a label company, and I can tell you that the die cut (the shape being cut out) will cost you between $500-$1000. You may want to go with a basic label shape to save costs.
  7. Suh leaving his feet instead of making the tackle against VaTech. This allowed the game winning TD.
  8. Try harder next time. What is it that I am going to try harder at? The truth is the truth, no matter what red tinted glasses you wear. I am a huge Husker fan. Have been for the past 42 years. I can tell you point blank, the NU defense this year does not measure up to the defenses we have had in the past. There is no argument about that. I will tell you point blank, that you have no idea what our defense will be like this year. You haven't seen them in action yet. Not sure how you can tell anyone "point blank" that they wont measure up to defenses of the past. Where on earth did you come up with that? Maybe I missed something here. Trolling??
  9. Umm, no genius. Last I checked there were 11 on the defensive side of the ball. Pelini does have dominant defensive recruits, we just haven't seen them on the field yet.
  10. What the hell? 4 hours? Aren't you suppose to seek medical treatment after 4@ hours?
  11. Jump....then face plant into concrete and slow motion slide back down to the water....FAIL!!
  12. This brought tears to my eyes first time I saw it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5c_onhzgvcY Any Sonic commercial is hilarious. This is my favorite. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o3rVHeKyNRs
  13. In the Doc about Rush, Getty Lee talks about touring with and opening for Kiss in the early 70's. He said, that you can say a lot of things about Kiss, but you never saw a harder working band to please an audience. Actually #7 above is the main reason KISS was huge.
  14. Those also look good on wives/girlfriends. Wrists or ankles?
  15. This is a joke, right? Playing in the Chick-Fil-A Classic almost every year (Nebraska played in it once in that span), playing in the SEC championship most years (Nebraska won the Big XII champ game once in that span), an SEC West Schedule (LSU, Auburn, A&M, Arkansas)....give me a break. I will say that they get a break THIS year due to the rotation (UT and UK), but they always get stuck with the West, usually a decent East team, and the championship game. Consider who was good in the Big 8/12 in the mid-90s time. OU was the worst that they have ever been, Texas was pretty bad, A&M was okay, CU was pretty good, KSU was JUST starting to come around (still not great), KU had their second best team ever in '95....and that's about it. Who was the best team that we played OOC during that span? ASU in '96...and we lost. 1997 Washington #2, we won.
  16. Then why didnt Heard come in when Rex got hurt? The doghouse theory has been debunked on numerous occasions. Injury kept him out. Only injury. We lost a good one there.
  17. Iron Maiden should be at the top of that list.. Metalica=Iron Maiden wannabes.
  18. OMG, that is the funnies sh#t I've seen in months.
  19. I voted no. There is no way he is big enough to carry the ball that many times. He started last year due to Burkhead being out, but I don't think he was our best backup. Our best backup just left for another team.....again.
  20. combination of ground water, poor city planning, huge boulders, and clay soil. Clay effected by shrinking, expanding or shifting soil...... depends on rain and/or temperature. And poor planning...... sewer and water lines was an average of only two or three feet deep. They make above ground shelters. They make community shelters. It would be nice if the government would assist with stuff like this since it isn't cheap. I've even thought about installing something even with a pretty deep basement, and I live in MN where we don't have much for strong tornadoes. It's a shame that people wind up being sitting ducks like this. Even with a basement, in an F4 you're still screwed. This is true. My parents when they built their house in '05 put in an actually storm shelter in the basement designed for such thing. Even a basement doesnt help with a storm of this caliber. Our house was built in '05. The people that had it built, had the ground dug out below the garage. Then they put iron beams that are sunk in 8 inches of concrete. These are put side by side and then the 4" concrete garage floor is put over that. So basically I have a bomb shelter the size of a 3 car garage. Nothing will get down there, not even an EF5. (I don't want to try and find out though). I think this is happening more and more on newer homes. It is for extra living space, but makes for a great shelter.
