  1. I bought ESPN Player overseas. I live in Spain, and it usually works fine. I'm traveling in Italy. Guess which two countries Espn Player doesn't work in.
  2. Guys, the next opponent is Illinois - focus!
  3. Does anyone have an update? Is Gregory ok? Sometimes, Coach Pelini says "day to day", and that could mean anything from one day to one year.
  4. I had the same problem here in Spain. Big Ten International worked great last year, but now, the only thing I can see is Big Ten Live. I can't go back and watch old games. It keeps asking me for the TV Provider Required, but we don't have one of those here. We have AFN. It's all on-line. I wrote them twice, and both times, they sent me back a form letter that says they're working on it.
  5. 11 seed - no play-in game - not bad
  6. There are two sets of rules - one for Craft and one for everyone else on the floor. That punk never gets called for a foul, and he must be a drama major with the way he draws fouls. Why do the refs love on him so much?
  7. Wish we had him this year. We are one center from being complete.
  8. LINK This could be about as good of a draw as the Huskers could get - barring a tremendous run in the B1G Tourney. Ha! I've always thought those play-in games were dumb, but now, we're hoping to get into one. Can you imagine if the play-in game becomes our first-ever NCAA win?! Would you consider that an asterisked first-ever NCAA win?
  9. I disagree with you on 17 wins; that's not enough. I agree with gratefullred - 18-12, 10-8 ought to get it done. 10-8 in the Big Ten should be enough. After that, if we're a 6-seed in the Big Ten Tournament and win the first round game, we deserve a ticket to the Big Dance. We have a good SOS and RPI.
  10. That's a bummer - hope he gets an attitude adjustment during the offseason. We could use a big shot blocker to protect the rim.
  11. When all the subs came in near the end of the Penn St. game, I was surprised to see Sergej on the floor because I assumed he had been redshirting. Does anyone know why the seven-footer can't get in the game?
  12. I'm sure the kid is great, but why are we taking five WR? Doesn't that total seem high?
  13. I don't think the coaches made him do it. They are short on DT's and asked him if he would be willing to switch and give it a shot. He did the unselfish thing and said ok. He has the size and the coaches probably saw that having a veteran guy over there would help. See, Nickens has the choice, and he obviously isn't against the switch. Heard was ok with moving to defense the first time. The second position change, wasn't a change at all. They were going to keep Heard at RB, but have him take reps as a WR to get him more playing time, while distributing the ball according to the game. Every player has the choice to switch positions, the coaches, nor Bo, force them to play something they don't want. Yeah, ok. When these players are asked to switch, how much of a "choice" do you think they actually have? For one, I'm sure they're worried about defying what, in the coaches' minds, is the correct position move. Also, it's kinda implied that "hey, you may have more opportunity at this other position than you do here; may be in your best interest to move." They should have done this already. We have 20 offensive linemen, only seven or eight of which ever played last year, yet we were playing two 260-lb DT's. Why NOT move a couple over to DT?!
  14. Same question - there was a 100-play scrimmage yesterday, right? I haven't seen a report anywhere.
  15. Suh trucking Cody Hawkins was my screensaver for a while.
  16. I think the first defensive snap will be Santos, Roach, Anderson - our three most experienced linebackers - just to make sure the calls are correct. Then, after the butterflies die down, in will come Brown, Rose, Afalava, and after that, it's whoever impresses the coaches the most. If that scenario plays out, these new stud recruits could all redshirt.
  17. Of the newly signed Huskers, whom do you suppose will not redshirt? Who is most likely to play this year? My guess is: 1. Gabe Miller 2. Randy Gregory 3. Terrell Newby 4. D.J. Singleton
  18. This should be an insta-ban!!! LOL No running game? Ameer, Heard (very good chance he could be a starter or share just as many carries as Ameer) with a dose of Cross. Offensive Line with lose J. Jackson and Choi. Only huge impact IMO, is Jackson. I believe Corey Whitaker would be taking spot of Choi (upgrad IMO), and Pensick will be starting Center next year. Not a drop at all. Rex's words "There won't be a drop off at RB when I graduate". With Brown, I believe that. I also think Rodriguez could lose his position, but only time will tell. Defensively, we can only get better. We may lack "experience", but we will bigger in size and have even more athleticism on the field, with more play makers and speed. With a better front and speedier LB's, our secondary won't have to be accountable for the run as much and we can protect the backfield like we are use seeing. Only position I am worried about, is Safety. Harvey Jackson or DJ Singleton (doubtful to start coming in as a true freshman) are going to have to play big and be smart. I have heard we have been having Jonathan Rose in this position as well. Not sure if its true, but we did recruit him as a DB/S. Don't fool pessimism for realism. What's wrong with Corey Cooper?
  19. This is exactly what I think will happen. Will it be good enough to get an at-large BCS game?
  20. That would work. I could also see Mike Marrow playing the Ben Cotton role and Quincy Enunwa playing the Kyler Reed role.
  21. I just have a hard time getting excited until they sign. But nowadays, even after they sign, they still leave. How many four stars have we lost? Klatchko, Moore, Green, etc. Even when they sign they don't sign.
  22. You think exactly like I think.
