Interesting to listen to the guys on the afternoon show on 850 KOA talk about Colorado non-stop for over an hour - and this was today, four days after the last game. Should they give the coaches time? If so, how much? Are they really supporting the coaches with facilities, etc. that gives them a chance to compete? Even got a mention about facilities at DONU that they can't compete with. Great afternoon for me.

There's a fine line between "competing to the end" and "delaying the inevitable". I think part of the problem is sometimes the QB kind of shuffles around for a bit, trying to kill a few more seconds. This only leads to shoving and cheap shots. I've maintained for some time that the kneel down rule should be enforced similarly to the spike to kill the clock - if you're going to do it, you have to do it as soon as you take the snap. That would clean it up a lot.

Not that I blame him for going but it's particularly hard to compete if we can't even get the few in-state prospects we have to stay here.

Dems controlled the house every year from 1960 to 1995 (actually they controlled it all but two years from 1933 to 1995). Dems controlled the senate all but six years from 1960 to 1995 and all but 10 years from 1993 to 1995. If you'd like to blame the republicans for any changes to entitlement programs from 1995-2007, please let me know what they are. Otherwise, you're looking on the wrong side of the isle and and the wrong address in Washington.

I know in the NFL the refs are able to "combine" two views to make a determination. I would assume the same would be true in NCAA but I'm not sure. If it's not - and thus you have to have one conclusive view - I could see them copping out and letting the play stand. However, to me it was pretty obvious that it didn't hit him.

Didn't start listening until right at the end of the third. Sounds like we hit pretty terrible the first two and early in the fourth. Probably at least partly to do with them being pretty solid. Trying to come back in the fourth but falling short. 23-19.

We ran the ball 59 times and threw it 14 times. With an offense like that, you need blockers. Unfortunately, this isn't Jamal's strong suit. I wouldn't read too much into it. He's been getting more of a look the last couple games and I'm sure he'll be back in there.
