  1. From Page 11 Some of you guys are so out of balance negatively in this thread. Chill a bit. Have a shred of faith now and then.
  2. That was int avoidance with an 11 point lead. Anyway plenty to bit## about on other plays.
  3. Huskers will straighten up now and close. Yep. Yes they will.
  4. Its OK to hate both a play call and a bad pass. Let the hate flow.
  5. Tommy had a great last drive. He plays like that and the huskers will have a good year. Kinda whacky game isn't it?
  6. Nebraska I'm late only game left so... Huskers!
  7. Yep. Yep. aTm wanted SEC in the early 90's but UTerus blocked 'em. Nobody with opportunity and a brain wants to be under UTerus influence (control). I hope UTerus stays in their own lesser conference forever. (If they come to the B1G, it'll be fine their bs attitude and behavior will get them nowhere.)
  8. Boo hiss. Planning ahead, anyone know what his chances are to get another year of eligibility if he wants it? NU can't afford to lose OL (or DL) at the top of the depth chart even in future years JMO.
  9. Time for Keith to address the issue effectively, permanently. Let's hope he does. I'm glad KW is staying for him, his son, and Husker Nation (unless/until he screws up big time again at which point I retroactively remove my gladness).
  10. Best of luck to Mr. Bush. Young man is a heck of an athlete he'll do well at the right place. Wasn't there some award winning 4* NU legacy QB out there in '15 that BoBeck didn't think much of so he settled for a tOSU scholly? Lulz. Burrow threw for 196 yds and 3 TDs in front of 100K fans at tOSU's spring game. But he probably sucks. Bo was the worst QB recruiter in history. Lucky for us that Taylor Martinez was so fast and tough..OMG what would things have been like if not for that recruit (a 3* athlete who played more WR on scout team than he did QB and RB).
  11. ^ Lulz. Keep posting like that it got you a +1 lol. Tre has most upside IMO but won't know for a long time probably. Ozi 2nd, IMO. Wilbon and Newby could both be really good if they'd listen to coaching and do what they're taught. Good bodies. Good athletes. Newby seems to not know how to create or find holes. Wilbon has a tendency to lose speed on most runs with cuts that are extreme even to full stop cuts. That needs to be an occasional tool not a steady diet.
  12. I said not sure since I don't have enough info to be comfortable making a "keep him" vote. However, I'm a strong lean to get rid of him. If he stays I think it should be in a non-coaching role with a huge pay decrease. See if he earns back trust over a year or two by staying stone cold sober and successful treatment (always a crap shoot however).
  13. Sports-reference.com has data for QB's that includes "adjusted yards/attemp". It's a pretty decent metric imo considering how simple it is and it hammers INTs which I believe is necessary. Football outsiders, Nate Silver's team at ESPN, others, are doing more complicated stuff and it may well be better I don't know. Anyway, I think the adjusted yards sheds light...however the performance of the rest of the team (drops etc poor Zac Taylor) and the sacks, fumbles, and rushing yards of the QB are all ignored. Obviously Eric Crouch would be underrated as a QB using this metric (Martinez maybe not considering he set fumble records while racking up rushing yards). Adjusted Passing Yards Per Attempt; the formula is (Yds + 20 * TD - 45 * Int) / Att Stastically, Gdowski is WAY AHEAD of all other NU quarterbacks (unless you want to count things like national titles and wins and stuff like that ) Tommy A is somewhere near the bottom relative to recent QB's (left out Lord, Daily, few others cuz I didn't care). 7.6 Armstrong, thru 3 years (53td/36int..not good) (rushing 4.2 ypa incl sacks, 15 rush TDs) 11.7 Gdowski (20TD, 2 Int) (8.0 yards per rush incl sacks, 17 TDs rushing) 8.9 Ganz (44/18) (some Cally garbage time padding assist? Nice numbers.) 7.6 Frost (18td/7int) (5.1 rush ave incl sacks, 28 rush TDs) 7.5 Frazier (43/11) (5.7 rush ave 36 rush TDs) 7.4 Martinez (56/29) (5.1 ypa rushing, 31 rush TDs) 7.1 Zac Taylor (45/20) (maybe some garbage time padding) 6.5 Crouch (29/25..not good) (5.3 yards per rush, 59 rushing TD's)
  14. Welling son of a ___ing ___h, da**it all to he##! Jeez Keith we hardly got to know ya.
  15. Tommy's interception rate: 6.1%, 3.5%, and last year 4.0% He needs to get it to 3 or less this year (completions over 60%, also, but ....) BTW NFL career leaders are Rogers 1.6, Brady 1.9, R. Wilson 2.0.
  16. Super post IA State Husker. Thanks. There is still hope for Banker Macroboy...those posters you refer to actually never try to show their w***'s because they are so tiny. Your gif is disgusting btw.
  17. The lil vindictive part of me is hoping NU goes 7-5 this year so you cm can experience Riley NOT getting fired for it.
  18. Yep I read it. Don't recall the site.
  19. 247Sports posted its top 247 players (not recruits) for 2016 (probably it was linked elsewhere on this site but whatever). Those who find the ESPN ratings distasteful really won't like 247. Here's the article to go along with the 247 list... # Players on this list from B1G teams... 7.. Michigan and tOSU 5..Iowa 4..Ped State 3..Northwestern, 2..Illinois, Wisconsin 1..Nebraska, Indiana, Maryland, Purdue (Gerry is #150) Have a super day everyone (you too cm husker)!
  20. NU's ranking is remarkable considering its 300 mile radius population.
  21. Man Nate's pass defense stats last year were obscene. Here's to hoping 80 throws go his way in '16.
  22. Hmm now this is pretty weird, IMO Every quarter: Interceptions: Iowa 1, NU 0 Each Half: Scoring: IA TD, NU TD, IA TD, NU FG. Total yards: NU leads both halves, yet loses by 4 each half.
