      Well...yes and no. There were things we could've done that would've prevented the Hail Mary from evening happening. But despite all the bad stuffs, we were still ahead 28-27 with :01 to play.

      The inability to convert a simple 3rd and 1 on 3 occasions shot us in the foot. Especially the last time. If we convert that one BYU can't stop the clock. Barring injuries we should be better by seasons end. We add three starters who were held out and should get experience for starting freshmen and sophs who haven't played a down of D1 football.

    All identity and relevancy has been completely lost. You can argue all you want about this that and the third but the only thing that matters is we are gone and maybe too far gone. This is exactly what I was afraid of. It's horrible.

    Did anyone listen to McKewon on the radio today? He made a very strong point that applies directly to this. He said that he's become very aware of how Bo recruited and his tactics. These kids are not committed to Nebraska and never were. They are committed to Bo Pelini. There is strong evidence of this. It goes hand in hand with the team mindset of "us vs them". He said that a lot of people will view it as Riley dropping the ball with these kids and that's not fair to him. These kids were never committed to Nebraska. The recruits that Riley does retain, are attribute to him "re" recruiting these kids.

    Why do I think they'll do better? Because it won't be stubborn Bo leading and Beck and Paps won't be here. Bam! Better already. you misunderstood the question. he said... what makes you think that the same coaching staff will move to lincoln and all of a sudden do better? especially if they don't change the way they recruit. it has nothing to do with bo and our previous coaching staff.

    Exactly. It was one thing when he was hired. Okay, fine.. Bring in talented coaches and recruit your tail off. So far he only has one coach who is nothing new from or state, and his first recruit is a guy who was recruited by a mediocre Oregon state. This thing isn't starting off on a great foot.

    So far this is what we have... We just hired Oregon States head coach. His first assistant is a guy moving over from Oregon state. Now we find out that his first recruit is a linebacker who was commited to Oregon state (who is apparently ecstatic about the new turn of events). This is not at all how I envisioned this thing going. We're slowly turning into Oregon state, only with more fans.

    So it looks like our first recruit is a linebacker that switched from Osu to us. Are we turning into Oregon State? I'm scared.

      I wouldnt set the barn on fire for one OSU recruit. They wouldnt of asked him to come if they didnt think he could contribute.

    teams would be idiots not to hire bo as a d coordinator regardless of anything. honestly, if he teams up with spurrier i'll be pissed. I want bo as a d coordinator... not as a head coach.

      Both said that Bo's blowout losses led to his undoing. Wilbon took a step further and said he's been to Nebraska over the last few years and that we "HATED" him...

    all this is a waste of time until we know what SE's agenda is. We have every reason to believe that SE will retain Bo at this point.
