  1. It's a great idea if it's an NCAA thing.. If not the B1G will fall way behind as a conference.. I also think if this is for the best interest of the student it needs to be for all athletes not just the big ticket teams..
  2. Slow? When they show the top all time RB's it it slow overall.. But speed is a relative term.. If being chased by a ferocious animal I just have to be faster than 1 other person..
  3. AA 24 reps on Bench.. Slow on his 40 4.61..
  4. Good gauntlet drill for Bell one drop.. Stayed inbounds when he turned up field..
  5. Kenny looked good in the come back to the ball drill..
  6. I thought Brendan Stai did something like 45+ reps on bench?
  7. Pass protection... From everything I've read, this is the only knock I've heard. I don't think most NFL teams will bat an eye at his 40 time unless it comes in the 4.6+ range. There's not a lot of NFL RB's with outstanding top end speed. His size will keep him from being drafted as an every down back, but there are very few teams who utilize RB's in this manner. He's improved in that area as an outlet receiver.. Every down backs don't exist in the NFL anymore.. I Think we agree he's a first round talent even if not taken there..
  8. If he's sub 4.5 I think he's a late first rounder for sure.. This is his only knock top end speed..
  9. I'm not saying I'm Batman, but you've never seen me and Batman at the same time!?!?
  10. I'd love to see him pick late round 1.. Means he will be on a contender!
  11. The next ten pages after this post: Person 1: So you're OK with getting blown out by 40 points every year? Person 2: I didn't say I was OK with it. I said it was a good record. Person 1: You call losing every meaningful game a good record? Person 2: Bo won some meaningful games. Person 1: He never won anything worthwhile, and beat a bunch of crappy teams to inflate his record. Person 2: He was one of only three coaches to win nine games those years. Nick Saban. Person 1: Nick Saban won championships. Person 2: So Bo's in good company. Person 1: Bo isn't Nick Saban. Person 2: Oregon. Tim Beck. Person 1: Taylor Martinez. Bo's Doghouse. Carl Pelini. Person 2: Biggest comeback in school history. Taylor Martinez. Person 1: Tim Beck. Defensive Guru. Person 2: Schemes and assignments. Ndamukong Suh and the 2009 defense. Person 1: Kenny Bell. Person 2: Kenny Bell. Person 1: Wisconsin. Wisconsin. Wisconsin. Person 2: 0:01. Person 1: Cotton & Pelini. Person 2: Had it in his hands against Michigan State. Person 1: 2011 Ohio State recording. Person 2: Backstabber. Person 1: Ref-Yelling. Person 2: 2009 Texas A&M Person 1: Recruiting. Callahan's players. Person 2: Ameer. Bell. Gregory. Burkhead. Person 1: Bo never made adjustments. Person 2: Switching conferences hurt. Person 1: Big Ten sucks. Person 2: Big XII was worse. Person 1: F Texas. Person 2: F Texas. The next ten pages? Ha ha! More like the last three years! Once again contrary to Huskers standards. 70% would be considered successful. I'm not saying he met the Huskers standard, but he wasn't a failure either in the win loss column. (other areas would be the discussion on the rest of this board) Therefore a guy in Moss's situation is looking for a good landing place has probably found a great one all things considered. PS- just to stir the pot Riley's percentage in a power 5 is 54% just sayin' now have fun with that!
  12. +1 Splash hire with JH! Successful NFL HC..
  13. What 2 power 5 successful coaches are at YSU? I know of a former successful power 5 coach who is the president of the university. Is the AD or chancellor also a former successful HC? The vest and Bo. Contrary to Huskers lofty standards Bo has been successful I didn't say the best or a world beater, but 70% of his games were wins. I wouldn't say that was a failure.
  14. RB always seemed to be about what was best for the young men in his charge. He still has something to give and took and opportunity where he knows the HC will let him do just that makes sense to me. I wish him the best he's always been a class act!
  15. No, because they would've keyed on the FB and I backs in the running game. No Corey S. up the gut while Sapp sucked wind!
  16. The fact that he will be with a coach that has had success putting D-linemen in the NFL might be appealing to him. Just a thought.. If you are a player they will find you even at YSU.. Especially with the fact that 2 successful power 5 head coaches are there might be appealing as well..
  17. I say make all the Power 5 play a Championship game winners are in.. Then 3 at large bids after that.. That's the group the committee should decide on as well as seeding.. That means championship weeks starts a "playoff"..
  18. A Student-Athlete should be welcomed to the program... Especially one with previous playing time in a POWER 5..
  19. Personalities make up a coaching staff. Not to mention he's one heck of a recruiter!
  20. USC might be a little high at 4, but that was a really talented, really young team! They will turn heads next year.. We were and older talented team with AA, Greg, and Bell..
  21. I think the big problem was his injuries and schemes against him this season. Might be a red flag after Clowney's season. With that alone I could see him slipping some, but still I think he's a top ten talent!
  22. With more pro teams throwing to backs out of the backfield I could see Ameer being a solid 2nd round pick.. He would be seen as the change up backin the NFL.. His return ability will also help..
