This isn’t directed at the OP, just a general thought.  Paying for movers is something anyone over the age of 25 should do every time. Your friends don’t want to help you out, so stop asking them. It’s not fun, not matter how much pizza and beer you offer them. Professional movers get it done way more efficiently and safely, and people should price it into the cost of buying or renting a new place. 

@ColoradoHusk 100% agree.  I remember a long time ago saying the exact same thing.

- "Help us move, we'll buy beer and pizza!"

Me:  "No, sorry..   I can buy my own pizza and beer"

We moved in November.  The movers were worth every single penny they were paid....and I tipped them very well.....along with buying them pizza.
