I don't think we should worry about Avery going anywhere but Nebraska.

Does this mean a commitment, or not?

Honestly, he needs to pick a school 1000 miles away, and get away from the neighborhood influences he has now.
Usually that doesn't help, it usually causes an even steeper downward slope in behavior
I'm still curious on what he's gonna be if he does eventually get his grades up and we offer him. Because if Bussey holds, i thought we were only taking one rb.
He's said from the start that he's not going to rush into committing, but we've always been at the top. The only way I don't see him coming here is if the coaching staff was fired. Pretty big lock imho.
Considering the fact that I've played football, soccer, basketball, and ping pong competitively, I can assure you, the only game we didn't help each other up much was ping pong. The only reason was because we didnt ever hit the floor in ping pong. So I call bullsh#t on that response HeyBurke.
I've watched enough football to say otherwise as well. Including former Husker football teams but not limited to them. Some coaches actually preach it.
I mentioned about Petteway, who was on the bench vs. PSU with fouls, headed to the locker room at the half. He turned around and congratulated the 5 players coming off the floor. That's big. That's important. That's a leader. And this isn't football.
I would rather we get fifth, then we have an easy first game against the number 12 seed and then the easiest possible second round game and who knows from there.
Gives us two more wins and the more wins the better at this point.
