  1. Which makes it sound like Warren brought all of this out into the open, and now is trying to down play it and say it's nothing and we are all friends and I don't want to talk about it anymore.
  2. Watching Trump supporters at a rally is one of the strangest things in America today.
  3. Second installment. Australia. Again, not a perfect system. There are issues they will need to fix. But, still better than the US.
  4. So, Republicans can put rules in that there will be no witnesses and the judge overseeing the trial can do nothing about it.
  5. That's what I don't get. If Roberts is the judge during the trial, doesn't he have ultimate say as to who is allowed to testify? I would think that both sides can call whomever they want and he would then have the final say. I'm confused as to how Moscow Mitch has so much say in it.
  6. yeah....I hadn't read those until just now. That is really scary stuff. It's amazing how the GOP just looks the other way.
  7. So, just to review. Republican think Hillary is evil because an attack was made on an American embassy where an ambassador, and others, were killed and they think Hillary didn't do enough to protect them. Hillary then spent over 8 hours testifying to Congress about the incident in an investigation that took 28 months and cost $3.3 million. Fast forward, there is evidence that Trump possibly worked with foreign agents to conspire to murder an American ambassador. Barr won't even open an investigation. And...Republicans don't see a problem with any of this. @Notre Dame Joe can you explain?
  8. There's Democrats on the list also.
  9. These two together are interesting.
  10. Yep....for a long time I’ve read about how the younger population in Iran likes the western world and really wants to be progressive. But, the politically active people (both young and old) suck.
  11. That makes being an ordinary schmuck more interesting.
  12. That's my biggest problem with it. Yes, some will cross over and vote for the best Republican they can find. However, parties are rather strong and can influence people to have other ideas. voter turnout for primaries tends to be lower so fewer voters have more power. So....having a crossover voter (or a group of them) to go across only to vote for someone who will be easier to beat....well.....you have a problem with it becoming a cluster f*** like in 2016. I believe people should vote in the primary with the candidates that most represent their views. If I'm a liberal minded person, I should stay out of trying to screw with the Republican primary. If I'm a conservative minded person, I should stay out of trying to screw with the Democrat primary. Each party put up the person THEIR like minded people think they should...then everyone votes in the general election. Crossing over to screw with the other party.....is nothing more than the old party politics crap we all act like we hate.
