#1stWorldProblemRant: a lot of people in the 55+ demo must not know what AirPods are. People at my work (including complete strangers) will try to strike up polite conversations with me when I have them in.

I mean, it's obvious they're headphones, right? Which comes with the innate understanding that the person is probably listening to something, yeah? Is it because they're hard to see? What other reason would a stranger have for trying to tell me why they're tired after walking for 15 minutes on a treadmill in the company gym??? This kind of stuff happens far too often.

And the worst is when I'm actually having a phone conversation on them. People can hear me talking and they try to interrupt. It's like they think I'm talking to myself.

I take it that you're happy with your political forum being an echo chamber of ignorant, leftist ideology.  Have you considered opening the forum to others so that quality discussion can ensue?
