We started this year with another “#1 juco RB” and that didn’t go well. I think Mills could be good. But, that label sometimes doesn’t mean much.

To say not paying a speeding ticket (by itself) is a deal killer, is over reacting. However, to say everything is perfectly great with this recruit is ignoring reality. If it were just the speeding ticket, he would be already signed. Fact is, the kid has been kicked off of one team already. His offer would already be on a short leash. Obviously there is a reason he hasn’t signed and it’s possible (speculation alert) that Frost has given him an ultimatum to clean up his act. Maybe frost needed to see what his punishment was going to be before he lets him sign. The kid needs to start proving he has some maturity to be able to be brought in and contribute.

I’m not sure term limits will make the court less political and the battles over judges less heated. It will just make it so we know exactly when those battles will occur. I want a balanced court.

Not sure I agree with this. At least to the point of being already tested at the P5 level.

Well....since she’s married with four kids, maybe not. But, definitely possible leading up to her wedding.

I used to think that....but the older I get, the more I hate the cold. Now, at least in the mountains there is fun things to do in the cold. I’ll hang out in the boat at the lake all summer to stay cool. I dont see anyone leaving either.

Years ago I had a conversation with a recruiting reporter from one of the main sites. He finally admitted that what school is recruiting a player played a major factor in the rating. I still think it plays a part but smaller than it used to. Now it’s weighted more on how they perform in camps. Problem is, not all kids attend a bunch of camps. The ststem isnt perfect, but it has improved.

I’ve been eating so much the last week that I feel like a bloated tick. I need to to get back to my non-holiday eating routine so I can then get back to cooking some fun things.

I think Nebraska just gets very little respect in basketball. We need to go into the Big Ten and take care of business. 5 of the first 8 games are rated. If Nebraska looks incompetent in these, we confirm their doubt. If we win most and look good against them, we will get more respect. The season is about it get really interesting. Problem is, the first two are in the road.

So, it looks like we have Nebraska, Colorado, Iowa and Mississippi State all in play now as far as P5 programs. This is becoming an interesting recruit.
