  1. This is going to be really frustrating if he doesn't make it to campus. He is a kid I'm excited to see play here.
  2. What do they consider an SUV? For instance, my wife drives a Chevy Travers. It's an all wheel drive crossover. Is this considered an SUV? If so, I fully understand why there is an upswing demand for SUVs. These cars are great and they aren't like you're driving around a suburban or escalade. I would not see the demand drop on these because of the economy as much.
  3. But....damn it.....you better not kneel during the anthem.
  4. You mean....a leader he admires.
  5. So, we have a president whose charitable foundation is legally shut down and his family banned from being in charitable boards. What at a time to be alive......wow. And 30% of America will still make excuses for them.
  6. Interesting, who were you not thinking we were going to get?
  7. Only if we can squeeze a visit in before hand. Would love that.
  8. We really didn’t have a chance here....but for some reason, I have a gut feeling this guy is going to be really good.
  9. Isn’t this thread about next years team?
  10. No way is 2000 the worst in all of husker history.
  11. Yeah....republicans care about our veterans....right????
  12. LOL....not a Pelosi fan but....she knows what she’s doing.
  13. So.....if this is true, it’s not comparable with the belief that a walk-in should never start a game or play meaningful minutes.
  14. Yeah.....this seems like the type of person we don’t want working in our schools. The child language specialist, Bahia Amawi, is a U.S. citizen who received a master’s degree in speech pathology in 1999 and, since then, has specialized in evaluations for young children with language difficulties (see video below). Amawi was born in Austria and has lived in the U.S. for the last 30 years, fluently speaks three languages (English, German, and Arabic), and has four U.S.-born American children of her own. Amawi began working in 2009 on a contract basis with the Pflugerville Independent School District, which includes Austin, to provide assessments and support for school children from the county’s growing Arabic-speaking immigrant community. The children with whom she has worked span the ages of 3 to 11. Ever since her work for the school district began in 2009, her contract was renewed each year with no controversy or problem.
  15. Just saying, the two thoughts are not compatible.
  16. Reading this thread, I’ve learned that being a scholarship QB and transferring less than 7 days before the first game is what you should do if you don’t win the starting job. Also, as a walk on, you should never see the field unless it’s mop up duty. These two thought processes together don’t work in the real world.
