  1. I saw that. I’m interested in knowing if that has happened before or why this is so different.
  2. This team is different from what we've had in a long time in that they are not relying just on one guy.
  3. If Trump were in the mob, he would have been knocked off so long ago......
  4. I would not be surprised if there is a limit (very high limit) where it has to be ran past the regents or chancellor....or both. Meaning....Moos couldn't just all of a sudden decide to tear down Memorial stadium and build a new one without higher up approval.
  5. A prime example of how Bush was so different than the idiot we have now. I heard an interview this morning from a top aid that was with him for most of his public life. He told of when the Berlin wall came down. Bush called a meeting and told everyone explicitly, not to boast about it. Don't go to the media bragging about it...etc. Be dignified and ultimately, it will help build a better relationship with Russia in the aftermath. Wow....what a difference we have now.
  6. I wonder if Brohm staying at Purdue had more to do with The Louisville AD department being a mess with the Adidas issues. I know that's more with the BB program, but it may spill over into other major sports within the AD department.
  7. It needs to be both. For the record, I've always thought something like this is the answer to so much of the world's water issues. California would have a completely different outlook with this. It needs developed. I'm glad to see people are still working on it.
  8. I was surprised he left because of the bolded. It seemed like when he went there, coaching at his alma mater was really big to him. He was being paid very well. He could recruit and had an AD that backed him. The move would not have surprised me at all.....if it weren't for this being his alma mater.
  9. I was mainly talking about their public life and how they treated people that disagreed with them......and how they conducted themselves on the world stage.
  10. You're more than willing to do that because you are a fan of a team that some years would be playing those extra games. The vast majority of the teams in Div 1 really won't ever have a chance. Also, with my idea of the conferences and the CCG, you have an 8 team playoff without any extra games than you have now.
  11. Then, I'm not for expanding the playoffs. You would only be adding one game for 8 teams. These guys very likely played that many in HS and will play that many or more in the NFL.
  12. I see this list and am just in awe of Sarah Pavan. Wow.
  13. I am not for reducing the number of games in the regular season. There's something like 125 teams in Div 1 football. We are talking about the top 4-8 teams and how they get chosen into a playoff. So, you're going to diminish the number of games 117-121 teams worth of players and fans get to experience, just for the top 4-8? No, I won't support that. We easily could have more of an official playoff if the NCAA would just force the issue. All you have to do is have 8 conference's (16 teams)....everyone plays a CCG. The champions of the CCGs go into the playoffs. Absolutely nothing would be diminished from the regular season. Right now, we have the best system Div 1 has ever had. It can be improved even more.
  14. I didn’t say these people were perfect.
  15. Yes, the goal is consistency. But, you don’t come from where we’ve been to good team every year with out a little up and down. Miles has had his share of bad teams getting here. But, if this season continues on this path, a step back is not reason for change.
  16. One thing I love about this team.....I didn’t even notice that Palmer had 23 points.
  17. Still rooting for a Chiefs Bears Super Bowl.
  18. One great coach and I always respected him because he stayed at KSU. He could have gone to a major program and he stayed at the school he loved.
