    This morning, at the age of 49, my dad had a heart attack. He's okay now thank God. Out of highschool he was good enough to play college ball, but joined the military instead. He retired just last month after 30 years of service. He spends his weekends working on my grandpa's farm and restoring tractors. He's volunteer firefighter who just a couple days ago was putting out a combine fire. My point is, he's not immune to heart disease and neither are you. Find out if your famil...

      So thankful your dad is ok. I recommend the book "What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Heart Disease" by Dr. Mark Houston. It is a real eye opener!

      Good to hear he's doing okay. The 52 year old me thinks 49 is way too young for that. My dad also had heart issues in his early 50's, even though his cholesterol was very low and he was in pretty good physical shape. Good advice for everyone to keep on top of possible heart disease.
