To add on to that, UCF had 17 kids on their 2 deep that were true sophomores or younger. I.E. Frost's recruits. That doesn't include JUCO guys like Mike Hughes. They only started 6 seniors.
He wanted his best player to have fresh legs at the end of the game. The lead meant we could afford to do so, and like it was previously stated, our guys had open shots we just weren't hitting them.
A guy that completed 75% of his passes in mop up duty as a true freshman and has experience in Frost's offense? He would be a big addition to the QB room. Definitely worth a scholarship.
I can understand why they're mad, I just don't think they have a reason to be. Everything Frost's done has been common practice. Why is he supposed to hamper his success to please the people of a university he is no longer employed to? Calling their actions as selfish is completely irrational.
Frost and staff said they'd visit. Talked about how he likes tOSU's offense. Isn't a package deal with Babb. Wants to sign early but won't if he hasn't decided.
I think tOSU is the one that got robbed. Beat 3 teams that finished ranked higher than Bama's highest win including 2 top 10 teams.
Either way I would've like the committee to send a message to the SEC that it's not ok to be scheduling FCS teams in November similar to the message they sent to the B12 when they had no CCG.
You can say they had 2 losses but Auburn was going to get into the playoffs as the 2 seed as long as they won. 1 loss to the 2 seed Oklahoma and one to Iowa. The Iowa loss (albeit a blowout) was no worse than losing to Syracuse or Iowa State.
If being the conference champion doesn't matter then why leave out the B12 in 2015? If dominating below average opponents matters then why leave out UCF this year?
I thought I heard the $5 mil included the S&C coach. Also you guys are forgetting TE coach. Beings Frost calls the plays it shouldn't be a surprise if he hires a OC that will double as a position coach.
