I'd be much more excited for the Sportsmanship Trophy presented by Target....

Jeff Horton current OC for San Diego State. Still a pro style offense so we're not starting from scratch, but he is much more focused on the running game and a powerful offensive line.

A whole lot of nothing

Good drive, just getting 6 would have really put the pressure on NW.

In other words our first offensive play will be the same inside zone, with the same TE/WR motion we've ran all year for a yard or two. If the 1 on 1's aren't working why aren't they running more ISO's, traps, something to help? Those shouldn't be foreign concepts to pro/west coast guys.

I noticed this in Riley's press conference too. You would have thought we just locked up the west with a win over a top 10 team. Don't get me wrong it's okay to be proud of the way the team came back and got the win when we played terrible, but he acted like that win just fixed everything. I would hope that he would be happy, but also talk about how we need to improve and see a more consistent team. Instead he told everyone how he keeps saying how he likes this team and where they are. If he likes being at 4-4 then he doesn't need to be here any longer. This staff's goals are just to win games, not championships.

The focus on the running game has really paid off.

Or even worse, Diaco reels off some wins and the administration thinks, "hey this could be our guy, he's familiar with players, made improvements, etc. etc.". Just got to ride it out no matter how good, bad, or ugly.

We need to quit acting like has to be Bo or Riley. Ginger Assassin could have hired someone who could win games and bring championships back to Lincoln while not being an a$$.

Nothing new. On one sideline you have a coach that wants to win and instills a winning mentality and killer instincts into his players. On the other side of the field you have a coach who doesn't seem to care. It's bigger than just talent. Yes OSU is the better and bigger team and yes Urban has created a power house, but that still doesn't make Ohio State 42 points better than Nebraska in Memorial Stadium. The Huskers have been outscored 118-17 the last two years to Ohio State... that's not acceptable.

Not trying to say Tim Beck was a genius or anything, but his offenses had more of an identity than this sh!t show

Well I'm confident Langs is going to dial up some plays and turn this game around.... JUST KIDDING. Run up the middle on first down and 2 incompletions/sacks

The same thing Wisconsin has done forever, recruit big, physical linemen who want to play and coach them up. It's bigger than star power.

It seems Langsdorf's gameplan is a predictable run game and YOLO bombs.
