    Wait...I've felt the Big 10, especially BTN, has been very friendly and welcoming of us.

    Not saying it's going to happen, but, for goodness' sake, it's not late November and the team is like 6-5. We're 3-1. 11-1, while admittedly unlikely, is still possible. Why burn the season down when it hasn't even started yet?

    If we go 12-2 I'm ecstatic. That would mean either a conference title loss, and a bowl win, a conference title win and a bowl loss, or a reg. season loss and a conference title win and bowl win.

    ITT: the hopeless 13-1 BABY! Okay, but really, I could see anywhere between 11 wins and 8 wins in the regular season, with a likely loss in the conference title game if we get to it, and possibly the bowl game depending on who we would get.

    Well of course we were spoiled. T.O. is the exception, not the rule.

    Tom, when he was a coach, was in my opinion the ideal coach. He never had to resort to anger or raw emotion to get his players to perform. He treated the job with the utmost professionalism, and truly exemplified, and still exemplifies, the idea of sportsmanship.

    Not to mention it was more difficult to get into bowls in '95 than it was in '07. Heck, in the 70s, you had to have an excellent season to get into any bowl.

    I always took it, since I went there from 2009 to this past May, that it was to represent that he kicks it so hard it's amazing his shoe doesn't fly off.

    That '95 schedule would have demolished most teams. That's how good '95 Nebraska was. Nebraska this year could have put up a similar performance and they still wouldn't look as good as that '95 team due to that schedule.

    I do trust our offense on this. I feel there's a much stronger chance the offense continues to improve than the defense, and as long as our offense is clicking, we can at least win against Michigan State. Now, the other three, Penn State, Michigan, and Northwestern, will require improvements in defense for us to win, and that's a greater long shot.

    I still don't get the fear of Michigan State. They are so bad on offense that I just can't be afraid of them.
