  1. What will it take for Neb to be back? I'd say consistency and stability among the coaching staff, an effective strength and conditioning program, defined identity and philosophies on both sides of the ball, and strong recruiting classes. If we have a full 2020 season I think we probably make a bowl. 2018 and 2019 were a handful of plays away from being bowl eligible seasons. I think we get over the hump for bowl eligibility in 2020. Neb needs a bowl game and a win over an Iowa, Wisconsin, Penn St or Minnesota in the worst way. There's no reason to think that Nebraska can't become a program that consistently challenges for the West. What will it take for Texas to be back? Who knows. I'm baffled at how mediocre they've been for so long. Every advantage one could hope for and they still can't put it together. Edit: Wrong years
  2. Wonder where he’ll transfer after 18 months in Lincoln.
  3. 1. The Railyard area has a Hilton, Hyatt and Marriott. 2. For O St Sandy's, Brothers, Duffy's, and Watering Hole are popular spots. (Personally I think Watering Hole has the best wings in town). For the Haymarket area, Barry's, Tavern on the Square, McKinney's and N Zone are pretty fun. If you want food, I'd say check out Lazlo's or Leadbelly. For the Railyard, it's pretty much Gate 25 or Longwell's. Just being in the open part in between is pretty fun too. 3. Ehhh... 4. There's one behind Pinnacle Bank Arena, I honestly don't know much about it. 5. It's kind of divided between O St and the Haymarket. O St is generally the college aged "I just turned 21" and Woo Girl crowd. Haymarket tends to be later 20's and up. 6. It's pretty expansive. Lots of areas all around downtown. Folks are pretty welcoming, especially if you're a visitor. You should have no problem making friends. 7. Visitors are generally clustered in the Southwestern corner.
  4. “Bring that trophy back to Lincoln!”
  5. Forgive me. With all the asshat name calling and comments about looking up peoples skirts, I didn’t realize you were attempting to have a constructive dialogue.
  6. Nope. Not sure why you continue to put words in my mouth. I’m not sure how to make it simpler for you.
  7. Again, that’s not even close to what I said. I’ve simply stated facts twice. I’m not sure how you’re arriving to these conclusions. Pandemics usually aren’t predictable. That’s why it’s helpful to have a team in place for when it happens.
  8. Not firing the Pandemic Response team probably would’ve been a solid start.
  9. I just quoted the article where experts said that potentially a million Americans could die. No clue how you arrived to that conclusion.
  10. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nytimes.com/2020/03/13/us/coronavirus-deaths-estimate.amp.html Between 160 million and 214 million people in the United States could be infected over the course of the epidemic, according to a projection that encompasses the range of the four scenarios. That could last months or even over a year, with infections concentrated in shorter periods, staggered across time in different communities, experts said. As many as 200,000 to 1.7 million people could die.
  11. In his speech he said he’s suspending interest on student loans. I’ll believe it when I see it.
  12. Honestly. Trumpers/Republicans how are you okay with this?
  13. I believe so. Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Coronavirus is the name for a specific type of viruses, like how there's several different influenza viruses.
  14. Well did you read the info in the link? Tax rates would remain unchanged for those making under $200k/yr. A simple google search shows that the average American income is approx $63k/yr.
  15. The average American would not see an increase in taxes. https://www.bernietax.com/#undefined;undefined;s https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/sanders-tax-plan-52-percent/ How exactly do you think he would be able to raise taxes but not get universal healthcare passed?
  16. I could see that. You’d think a 6’6” guy out wide would come in handy in the red zone. TE should be solid enough with Stoll, Allen, Vokolek, and Rafdal.
  17. Really hope the O Line starts the season hot. They noticeably picked it up towards the end of 2019. I was in the north end zone for the Wisconsin game and I can’t remember the last time I saw running lanes develop like they did in that game.
  18. Health Secretary Asks For Emergency Coronavirus Funding While Trump Calls For 16% Cut To CDC Budget https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.forbes.com/sites/lisettevoytko/2020/02/26/health-secretary-asks-for-emergency-coronavirus-funding-while-trump-calls-for-16-cut-to-cdc-budget/amp/ Because of course.
  19. No idea where to put this "Trump doctor hid cauliflower in mashed potatoes to improve diet: report" https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/484496-trump-doctor-hid-cauliflower-in-mashed-potatoes-to-improve-diet "Former White House physician Ronny Jackson told The New York Times that he regretted leaving his position before he could implement the diet and exercise regimen planned for Trump. “The exercise stuff never took off as much as I wanted it to,” he said. “But we were working on his diet. We were making the ice cream less accessible, we were putting cauliflower into the mashed potatoes.”" Hard to believe this is where we're at, folks.
  20. Wasn’t the 2018 class an attrition disaster too?
