I'd say consistency and stability among the coaching staff, an effective strength and conditioning program, defined identity and philosophies on both sides of the ball, and strong recruiting classes. If we have a full 2020 season I think we probably make a bowl. 2018 and 2019 were a handful of plays away from being bowl eligible seasons. I think we get over the hump for bowl eligibility in 2020. Neb needs a bowl game and a win over an Iowa, Wisconsin, Penn St or Minnesota in the worst way. There's no reason to think that Nebraska can't become a program that consistently challenges for the West. What will it take for Texas to be back? Who knows. 1. The Railyard area has a Hilton, Hyatt and Marriott. 2. For O St Sandy's, Brothers, Duffy's, and Watering Hole are popular spots. (Personally I think Watering Hole has the best wings in town). For the Haymarket area, Barry's, Tavern on the Square, McKinney's and N Zone are pretty fun. If you want food, I'd say check out Lazlo's or Leadbelly. For the Railyard, it's pretty much Gate 25 or Longwell's. Just being in the open part in between is pretty fun too. 3. Ehhh... 4. There's one behind Pinnacle Bank Arena, I honestly don't know much about it. 5. It's kind of divided between O St and the Haymarket. O St is generally the college aged "I just turned 21" and Woo Girl crowd. Haymarket tends to be later 20's and up. 6. It's pretty expansive. Lots of areas all around downtown. Folks are pretty welcoming, especially if you're a visitor. You should have no problem making friends. 7. Visitors are generally clustered in the Southwestern corner.

Really hope the O Line starts the season hot. They noticeably picked it up towards the end of 2019. I was in the north end zone for the Wisconsin game and I can’t remember the last time I saw running lanes develop like they did in that game.
