The GOP's current standard bearer uses a Breitbart executive as his closest advisor and CPAC enthusiastically deemed a Breitbart Senior Editor as their keynote speaker (that is until they found out he endorsed pedophilia). That association is plenty warranted.

You are going to require our best and brightest kids to get through school after over 8 hears of post HS education, absolute grueling years of internships and clinicals $300,000 to 500,000 debt ....and they haven't even started studying any specialty yet.....and then you are going to tell them they are going to go into a field where they should just do it based on the goodness in their heart? Well I would argue that Education would also go under that whole "Does this need to be up for the profit motive?" argument. My comment wasn't about forcing our best and brightest kids to become doctors and work for free. It was about the ridiculously inflated cost of health care that isn't seen anywhere else in the developed world.

Out of curiosity, who would you want to hire? Heart isn't set on anyone in particular, and some of these are outright unattainable. But if it were up to me I'd probably consider Baker Dunleavy from Villanova. Mike Brey from Notre Dame. Jeff Capel from Duke.

Fire him. He hasn't brought anything to the table that any other sentient being couldn't have. His schtick wore thin with me long ago. Open up the check book and get a real coach.

Beck was also the running backs coach before being promoted to QB, and they didn't run an air-raid at KU. He's also the guy who recruited Armstrong, so... that doesn't really make sense. Sorry, I won't agree with that. Armstrong has constantly been asked to make plays and be more of a passing QB than using his legs. I'm not necessarily saying Beck was calling too many passing plays..etc. I'm saying Armstrong was never going to be the type of QB Beck needed....even though he recruited him. There was always a struggle between what the OC wanted and what Armstrong was able to do. You don't have to agree. Just look at the QB's he recruited. Tommy Armstrong, Jamal Turner, Bubba Starling, Johnny Stanton, AJ Bush, etc... That's what he recruited. None of those guys were what I'd call good passers. That's on Beck. A real "Who's not" list of QB's. Yeesh.

Seems that McCain and Romney were too stately and dignified for the GOP to really rally behind. They needed a reality show tv star that wants to date his own daughter and is endorsed by the Klan to unify them.

I'm excited to see his career progress. He does appear to be pretty lanky at the moment, but I think he'll have plenty of time to man out.
