I've thought Beck would have done something creative with the Offense for a long time now. He certainly has the talent for it. But, I'm guessing it'll be the jet sweep and zone read show tomorrow. I honestly don't care all that much what we do, as long as we move the ball efficiently and don't turn it over. Don't get me wrong, if whatever we're running works, don't change it. I just was thinking that the talent on the offense could translate into a more unpredictable attack. Not for the sake of being gimmicky but because our skill players can gash just about anyone.

I click on a thread Titled "Tim Beck" Page one segues quickly into a T-Mart debate. I skipped to page 4 and it has turned into some guys humping a door knob over what a real husker fan is.

I hope they come out swinging too, but the thing is... they should have come out swinging so many times before. I don't know that there was ever a more opportune time to snatch a conference title and BCS berth than this year. If it couldn't be done this year, what makes anyone think it'll happen next year? It's just hard to get excited for this game as a fan.

Bottom line is, if Zimmerman didn't follow Trayvon none of this would have happened. The police told him not to follow him and he chose to continue following him. That's not standing your ground. This is where Nebraska law gets it right. If you feel threatened, you're supposed to flee, not stand your ground and defend yourself. Easier said than done, but if Zimmerman felt threatened, he should have left. Not pursued.

I can't think of a President that has had to endure anything like Obama has. The inherited mess and the prejudice. Mitch McConnell coming out and saying the sole purpose of what they need to do is deny Obama a second term pretty much sums it all up. How can Obama be blamed for not reaching across the aisle when that's what he's met with? All they do is oppose anything and everything that's proposed, even if it's in the best interest of the people they represent. Republicans today aren't even close to the republicans of the past. Bob Dole couldn't even get them to pass a bill about helping disabled people.

Hi all, I'm new here and have a fairly odd request. I am looking for a Wayne Meylan autograph as a Christmas gift for my dad. Meylan was his favorite player when he was a kid, and he used to have his autograph but misplaced/lost it when he was a young kid. I thought it would be cool to give him a Meylan autograph, but the only one I can find on eBay is nearly $200, and as much as I love my dad I just don't really have that right now. If anyone has one they're willing to part with or know where I can find one for a lil cheaper, it would be much appreciated! Thanks!
