Damn how is this kid only a 3 star? He highlights were very impressive, great throwing mechanics, probably comes from the baseball aspect, great runner and does a great job of keeping his head up while scrambling and throwing on the run. I have him ranked higher up than Flowers just based off those highlights.

Wow, those are extremely impressive highlights, we need to do whatever we can to keep this kid from going to the MLB. Has great size and is a very good football player.

According to Sean Callahan, Craig Bohl is going to Wyoming. This is a great hire IMO, man has shown he knows how to run a program and win games.

Really like this kid to be a solid OLB. If we could get him and Ballage we could have some very scary looking LB's. On a side note, his QB made some really nice throws, anyone know who he is?

Yeah he did not help his case. He is obviously frustrated and annoyed with the media and I can't say that I blame him.

One thing that has always impressed me about Richt is that he is running a clean team and having pretty good success against some very solid teams that don't play by the rules. He had his team in position to beat Alabama for the SEC title. I think he would do a very good job at preserving the Nebraska tradition while also being able to improve us in a few other places as well. That being said, I think Bo has shown enough improvement in coaching and recruiting that he should be given another year. But if we were looking for a coach, Richt would be my first choice.

Watched the Wiscy game today and Clement was very impressive. Averaged close to 10 ypc and went for over 100 yards. He was a guy that I really wanted us to get last year and he will definitely be giving us some trouble in future years. But I do think the Newby/Taylor combo will be deadly.

Regardless of who is at QB, even though I am on the TA side, our offense should be able to put up more on Minnesota than just 23 points. We have the line, the run game, and the weapons on the outside that it shouldn't matter if Fyfe or Martinez is playing. The play calling was atrocious and Martinez has no presence in the pocket and locks onto one receiver that it essentially ruins our passing game. The tenacity of our offense was just not there today, whether it was due to the play calling or the quarterback, I don't really care just get it fixed because we are Nebraska and we do not lose to Minnesota regardless of the circumstances.

Zaire. First game in which he will regularly see the field. I expect some big hits and fast play from him.

Regardless of who plays between TA and RKIII, I am just excited to see some deep throws. Both these guys are far better deep ball throwers than Taylor and with our receivers, I want to see us stretch the field deep and make some plays.

I find it a little interesting that they have Nathan Gerry listed at 210. I know we thought that he reported at 220. I trust the coaches and all but it seems like 210 is a little small for a linebacker. However, if Bo thinks this is best then I'll trust that.

I will most certainly miss Taylor and everything he brings to our team. However, I do think we have a couple of guys behind him, in TA and JS, that have the "it" factor and can really be something special down the road.

I love the idea of a Black Out game but it won't be successful for multiple reasons. One, too many of the fans(same crowd as the anti-alternate uniform crowd) won't like it because its "not tradition and were Nebraska and we don't do that stuff". And two, you would have to have a University sponsored campaign, otherwise too many people would be uninformed and it would just look bad. I'm all for a Black Out but if we don't do it right then it would just make us look stupid.

I don't know if he really qualifies as a breakout player but I think Quincy is going to have a great year. One of the most physically talented guys on the team and also a extremely hard worker and leader.

Who is going to be the breakout player of the season that steps up into that top tier of players for us? For example, I would say last season's guy was Abdullah, we all knew he had talent but due to the playing time he got and his performance, he has emerged as one of our top players. Turner is another guy that could fit under this as well. So, that said, who do you guys think is the breakout player for this season? On offense, I'll say Adam Taylor. Defense I'll go with Zaire Anderson.

This makes me wonder if TV is going to Kentucky now. I know Beck really wants this type of player but we already have Demornay and Stewart, doubt we would take a third in TV.

Any news on Smith as of late? Kid is a stud and is within a close distance.

So lets say the unthinkable happens and we lose this game, what are our chances of making a regional? I know we only have a .500 record but we do have a pretty high RPI, if I'm not mistaken.

Wow, with that extra weight he could end up being able to see the field a little this fall. Especially with his wrestling background, that usually always help with hand and footwork.
