  1. We have to get rid of all the Cottons, Dad can't coach & son's can't block.
  2. I dislike the whole, what the "real" score should be. The real score is 21-7. If batman was our qb we would be up 56-7 EXACTLY No matter the score, someone(s) will always complain.
  3. Santos needs to be on the pine. Since he got hurt, he is slow and can not cover anyone or chase anyone down. Pathetic! We need better linebackers next year. They are defiantly are weak spot on the D.
  4. All 3 LBs may have had 3 tackles after the first quarter. Where the hell were they?
  5. Until you lose to Wisconsin, Michigan State or Ohio State, then we will stop coming to games and try to get you benched and your HC fired. But you'd be great the rest of our games! Please come! WOW!
  6. I watched TA closely, and I never saw him look for the 2nd receiver against wisky How could he they were all 30 to 40 yards down field.
  7. Elaborate. What was not impressive? Offers, size, or tape. I haven't had a chance to watch his highlights yet. Seems that the staff is really good at evaluating secondary talent. With a small class I don't think they would offer a guy unless they really liked him. He just looked slow & stiff, not as athletic as our other DBs in this year's class.
  8. Its hard to fire a guy that makes the right people happy and recruits well. Oh wait! Why would you want to fire that guy? It playing the game. Keep the money close!
  9. It's not going to happen. Bo has surrounded himself by donors and he has a good upcoming recruiting class. We all need to face it; he will be here next year.
  10. Why would they if they knew Bo might be on his way out in a year or 2..
  11. Tradition was ruined under Callahan. Most of these kids don't care about Nebraska in the 70s, 80s, & 90s. They were not even born yet.
  12. I heard a retired coach say that our ends where being chipped by the TE and then being driven back by a big lineman. The TE would knock them off a little a move to the next level. He said the best way to handle this is to drive the TE into the backfield & disrupt the play. He could not say if they were coached to stay at the line or not.
  13. Rivers has improved and Pitchford is still trying to find his grove. I think if we get Abraham more practice time with these guys and get Leslee Smith back we will be solid.
  14. Rivers is playing with a lot of confidence; Walter is struggling; Shields may be our most complete player (didn't miss a field goal or free throw); Petteway is the same with even longer range on his jumper; and it looked like the entire team was trying hard to get Webster some looks to boost his confidence. Walter had A rough game shooting and it was 1 game! Don't misinterpret my statement. I was replying to the poster who asked thoughts of those in attendance. And for that one game he was asking about, .....Walter did struggle. (arguably you could mention that he struggled in the exhibition game as well). No way was I throwing him under the bus. Just stating the facts about last night. He looked very good at the tip off, making 12 or 13 in a row in the 3 pt. contest. I think we have several players who could step up any game to help Petteway & Shields. Sorry, I am still in morning after Sat.

  16. I'll take your side on this. I like Bo and I think in some respects he has been a success at Nebraska. The program is definitely improved from the BC era and I commend him on that. Since Bo did improve the program his first few years I believe that he has the knowledge to improve the program. My only issue with Bo is that the program has hit a ceiling under him the last few years. In his first 2-3 years he brought us from having a horrible team to a team that was being competitive and led us to 3 conference title games which was definitely a step in the right directions. In the last 2-3 years we have been stagnant as a team that is good but not good enough to be considered with the top teams/programs. If Bo can make the changes needed to get over that hump and bust through that ceiling I would like nothing more than having him on the sidelines. If Bo can't or isn't willing to make the admittedly tough changes then I feel it is our best interest to have long discussions with the power that be about possibly changing directions with the program. With that said I definitely believe Nebraska can and will be a power again. WOW! Why is this so tough for some to get. We knew what Wisconsin would do because they really didn't have anything else to do. They are one dimensional. We even had an extra week to prepare. Then that guy goes off for 408 in 3 quarters. That's all any sane person needs to see. Everyone has an opinion and we all know you hate bo.
