  1. This was weird... https://www.detroitnews.com/story/sports/college/michigan-state-university/2023/10/21/michigan-state-deeply-sorry-after-hitler-image-appears-on-video-boards-before-game/71277801007/
  2. MSU had their QB run to the sidelines for plays, tonight. It made Michigan's D look beatable.
  3. Very true. I do not mean to paint a broad brush. Does it help explain some of protests we have been seeing? I don’t know. My kid’s colleges had pro Israel demonstrations so maybe it goes both ways or down ideological lines. below is supposedly a facility member from UC Davis.
  4. Russell Rickford, an associate professor of history at Cornell, said he was "exhilarated" by the ambush killings at a pro-Palestinian rally. "It was exhilarating, it was energizing. If they [the Palestinians] weren't exhilarated by this challenge to the monopoly of violence, by the shifting of this balance of power, they would not be human. I was exhilarated," he told the crowd, who responded with cheers. Rickford apologized this week for his remarks, saying he made a "horrible choice of words." Choice of words? Our universities seem messed up to me. I wouldn't want Mr Rickford teaching my kids history.
  5. I thought this from MgoBlog was funny. Of course everyone suspects Ryan "Karen" Day as the culprit. The provenance of this and reporting on it is sketch. The first person to allude to this investigation was Ohio State insider Bill Greene of Buckeye Scoop, the site that was blackballed by OSU for paying a walk-on to give them access to internal Ohio State information. The message board rumors that started up a couple of days ago also came from OSU sources, which point's a big ol' finger at Ryan Day as the primary complainer. I do not believe the message board rumor that Ryan Day hired a private investigator to get at all this… but I kind of do. This is also extremely funny, especially because I've got the odd Buckeye fan in my twitter mentions making ominous references to how this all started in 2021. DO YOU REMEMBER THE 2021 GAME? Michigan passed four times in the second half. OSU couldn't move the ball because Aidan Hutchinson was beating the a$$ of whoever he lined up over. Signals intelligence did not matter. 2021 may have been the game least likely to be affected by playcalls in the history of the Michigan-Ohio State rivalry. Call whatever you want, Ryan. It doesn't matter because Aidan Hutchinson is going to be beating CJ Stroud to death with the dismembered arm of the left tackle.
  6. My understanding is that the alleged rule broken was having paid employees Scouting future opponents at venues that they are not allowed to be at. If you can decipher signals live or from film it's fine.
  7. JJ: It's called Scouting and I am a Badger. RG3: Then every team should be investigated. Paul Finebaum...a Harbaugh Lover Paul Finebaum, of all people, asserted on ESPN this morning that "If this had been someone else, this investigation probably would not have gotten to this point."
  8. Connor Stalions is part of the recruiting staff and not an analyst, although it sounds like he has a high desire to be a coach someday. He did spend lots of time studying game film. He sounds pretty intense from his Instagram posts. The theory is that he hired non Michigan persons to attend and film games to get him more game film. I am most curious about who is crying about the sign stealing. Probably Ryan Day. The Rutgers camp is denying it. They say Schiano's comments were directed at the refs.
  9. I don't know, but Talib does.. https://www.google.com/amp/s/abcnews.go.com/amp/Politics/tlaib-refuses-apologize-blaming-israel-gaza-hospital-blast/story%3fid=104085727
  10. Maybe Mich will have to forfeit this game! https://www.maizenbrew.com/2023/10/19/23924072/yahoo-report-michigan-wolverines-college-football-investigated-ncaa-alleged-sign-stealing-scouting
  11. https://www.foxnews.com/media/son-hamas-leader-breaks-silence-decision-denounce-terror-group-care-palestinians "I was born at the heart of Hamas leadership… and I know them very well. They don't care for the Palestinian people. They do not regard the human life," Yousef told Brian Kilmeade Thursday. "I saw their brutality firsthand back in 1996 when I spent about a year and a half in Megiddo Prison… They killed so many Palestinian people at that point, and this is when I decided that I cannot be together with this movement." "Hamas is not a national movement. Hamas is a religious movement with a goal to establish an Islamic state," Yousef said. "They don't care for nationalism. Actually, they are against nationalism. But that's my understanding that they are using the Palestinian cause only to achieve their goals, so the long-term goal… [is] transforming the Middle East and the world into an Islamic state."
  12. They have 2 years to spend all of the PAC12s leftover money on themselves
  13. Here is an article from CNN. IDF is saying the damage is not from an Ariel attack and they have audio of Hamas fighters discussing debris from a rocket launch hitting near the hospital. I suspect evidence will not matter in the Arab world. https://www.cnn.com/middleeast/live-news/israel-news-hamas-war-10-18-23/h_2b0ca738700446dc5c8615090e1f3331 Israel's military claims lack of structural damage at Gaza hospital rules out airstrikes
  14. Absolutely a chance Hamas hit the hospital. It’s possible they did it on purpose. Hopefully someone has footage and the world will know. Edit: I didn’t know Biden said this. President Biden revealed Wednesday that data he has seen from the U.S. Department of Defense has made him sure that Israel is not to blame for a blast at a hospital in the Gaza Strip that has left hundreds of people dead. Biden said earlier that the explosion that rocked the al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City on Tuesday -- which Hamas is claiming was the result of an Israeli airstrike – was "done by the other team." When asked later Wednesday what made him so sure about that, Biden said "The data I was shown by my defense department."
  15. They use human shields for reasons. I seem to remember rockets being shot from a hospital Lebanon many years ago and the Israels opted to take them out with special ops instead of missiles, the team messed up, and many of the special ops forces died. Hezbola celebrated. Israel probably said, screw that from now on.
  16. Canadian politics, but priceless.
  17. I answered this question with a 'no', but now I am thinking it's possible. Go figure.
  18. Hundreds of people are believed to be dead following a strike on a hospital in Gaza. Palestinian officials blamed ongoing Israeli airstrikes for the lethal incident, while a spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces said a Palestinian Islamic Jihad group is responsible for a “failed rocket launch” that hit the hospital Given Hamas has shot off rockets from populated schools, mosques and hospitals to protect the launchers from attack using human shields, maybe Talib and others should wait for this to flush out. Result was a cancelled summit between Biden, Jordan and Palestinian leaders. Hmmm, another good reason for Hamas to hit a hospital...gotta stop any peace summits.
  19. Yes they are Islamic. Maybe a perverted form of Islam....or maybe not. I know people that will tell you they are Christians or Jewish and are fervent with that claim, but they certainly do not seem to be what the claim or maybe the belief has become warped.
  20. I believe she was helping her friend Omar out after realizing Omar's mistake in believing the picture was Israel instead of Assad and posting it on X.
  21. I don't know if I believe Hamas is religious or if they just use religion to help justify their cause. The hatred between Jews and Arabs goes back thousands of years. At this point it's just cultural. It sucks the way Hamas uses their people, but I think it's time to stomp them out.
  22. Or she posts misinformation. I suppose these days it's common place...
