  1. Probably right, but I still hate this power the schools have. Let him go whenever he wants
  2. Best of luck to him. Would have done the same thing. That being said, that much more important for AM to be healthy and make progress this year. You could essentially lose an entire year of development for the entire offense with ineptitude at the QB position
  3. That's the good of transferring today/ASAP. He needs to sit a year wherever he goes, save A JUCO. Do it now and sit out this year or stay and play a few snaps for the Huskers this year, then sit out next year elsewhere. This was for this year's starter for fans, but for TG, it was likely for the starting job for the next 4 years.
  4. Option 1 seems most likely
  5. Will be in Omaha for an away game in a few months. Any recs on great bars to watch the game???
  6. The video listed Huskers.com at the end. Will it be playing there at the same time???
  7. Some of them use it as a fashionable thing, though. Like Elijah Blades' amazing starter windbreaker.
  8. Always wondered if these recruits and their folks buy the school gear on their own for the unofficial visit. The school can't give them anything on unofficials, right???
  9. Ironically enough, Bookie is with Diaco after all as he is a "defensive analyst" at Oklahoma.
  10. This. Especially with some more QBs coming in next year and Vedral able to play. All this talent is great, but to get on track, it should cycle and not be a question every few weeks if the next guy is the "one". Frost and Co are huge on everyone knowing their roles, yet QB is so even. Wonder how that plays out in the room.
  11. Totally true, but Roberts was a pretty exciting get. Especially after beating out Penn State. Could see him beasting it up at a G5 program.
  12. Will he stay at school on a scholarship??? Medical exception??
  13. He fired his buddy and hired the best available/biggest name assistant on the market who was also highest paid assistant in the history of the program. Diaco was not a good fit, but it was a major move at the time. Yes. I think if Scott Frost came to TO when he was being recruited and confided in him enough to elicit advice that TO would reserve for his own son, that advice would be to go to Stanford if he was so moved by his visit. He hosted some of the best players in the nation. Sarell, Parsons, Bookie. These guys didn't connect with Riley because he wasn't trying to win.
  14. But it happened when Bookie came to HCMR with how much he liked his visit and (seemingly) distraught at his predicament. Riley caring about Bookie the person more than Bookie the football player is a super stand up thing to do. TO told Scott Frost to stay at Stanford. Riley is a good man.
  15. So when is this airing for real
  16. I only ask because there is no physical way the Huskers put on as much muscle weight as has been reported by lifting and training to failure like the Maryland staff allegedly had the Terps doing. They wouldn't have lasted until camp if they had. Those training methods are so archaic and incompetent that it's amazing someone was allowed to do that to players in 2018. They will be slower, more susceptible to injury, and gassed easily.
  17. How many times a week do the Huskers lift under Duvall?
  18. It's not. Scott Frost mentioned his philosophy of positive reinforcement within the first 5 minutes of his introductory press conference. Autonomy and self efficacy are beautiful things.
  19. Also with more eyes on the program now, would be awesome to get a really meaningful alternate uni for an even more meaningful game
  20. I like this one, too. Super clean. But it's hard to believe that HCSF was spending time looking at jersey tread and pants stripes. Dude wore the same suit for a week when he was hired.
  21. Was there something really wrong with the "old ones"?
  22. Compete burner. Love taking the top off the defense. Are we chalking up this first year of recruiting to establishing a culture of both the types of athletes and character SF is looking for? Yea, rankings don't mean anything in the long run, but would like some of these guys to be ranked higher.
  23. But, they need bodies. Literally, who is going to play all these snaps? They must have confidence in what they have.
