  1. As a general statement, Pelini had the support of the boosters to the end. Harvey Perlman had to go to great lengths and behind backs to get rid of Pelini.
  2. Based on your criteria, Tom Osborne stood still too. But hey, it's an internet message board.
  3. I'm not one who cares about the sellout streak but there's more than plenty of booster and endowment funding to keep it going.....and keeping Frost has some to do with it.
  4. Austin didn't have to report to Dom every day.
  5. Like not be on Huskerboard 10 hours per day?
  6. I tee off in 30 minutes so you're barely beating me to cracking one open.
  7. Didn't say he couldn't. But the B1G trended upward and he hasn't since the covid season.
  8. Sounds like you believe decision makers have blinders on?.....
  9. When was the last time a Frost coached team was blown out?
  10. I haven't referenced anything from a press conference.
  11. Frost's seat isn't as hot as Fornelli's clickbait wants it ti be. But hey, in the B1G even #14 is a top 53 nationally......
  12. Trev and Scott are not the only characters in this play.
  13. Lubick wasn't the first option, so his short tenure isn't surprising
  14. It didn't become known as "The Pipeline" for almost 20 years under Osborne. Frost is fully aware of the importance, thus the coaching change after 4 seasons. Again, message board drama.
  15. Let Raiola do his thing. Recruiting hasn't been the weakest part of the offensive line issues.
  16. The new approach was hiring some of the better recruiters out there. I just saved you about 8 paragraphs with that nugget.
  17. Being opponent adjusted helps also since we had an excellent strength of schedule last season. There isn't any question the offensive coaching staff has been upgraded, especially from a recruiting standpoint. Verduzco's point of emphasis going into last season with Martinez was turnover reduction.....which didn't happen.
  18. We "may" get more than one year out of this staff as it is now. I'd highly recommend placing your bet on that.
  19. The only way to prove anything is to actually do it. In the meantime it's all hope and potential.
  20. Frost doesn't need your "trust". He has friends in high places. And an undefeated season. Yes, that's a big deal on any coaches resume. Frost wanted Mickey Joseph previously but he wasn't available. Same for the Walters/Lubick transition. Part of the "hand" Trev had in these hires is letting them know he has their....and Frost's.....back.
