The big ten is known as the black and blue conference. SEC is known for speed. Not physicallity.

Which is exactly why the SEC and PAC 12 are the two big conferences. They have the speed. Just because a team plays with a strong attitude doesnt make them physical.

Whatever. All im saying is the whole slow crap with strength doesnt work anymore. We need speed. Just a little tipsy dont get all worked up. The point is if ur going to beef up players and lose the speed, the football team isnt going to go far. The Big Ten as a whole does not have the speed to compete with other conferences.

Is Alabama not physical? Is LSU not physical? Is Georgia not physical? Heck, no one knows it but Oregon is physical, Stanford is physical, Washington is physical. The teams that aren't physical, are the same teams Nebraska is playing, and NU is also one of them. You proved my point

I know hes a name and his songs are "catchy" but his lyrics are crap and he boasts up himself alot. Biggie 2pac Nas Krayzie Bone Game all tell stories of how life is. Jay z just talks crap about how great he thinks he is. I could go on. Im an ameteur rap artist but i keep it underground this guy sold out to radio music. Ugh. No respect for him at all. Rappers like him give the game a bad name. jay z, tupac, & biggie, go on the Mr Rushmore of overrated rappers... Ill respectally disagree. Especially Pac. The dude changed the game and he was a poet. He may have been glamourized a bit because of his death, but what he meant to hip hop will never be forgotton. He didnt have a fantastic vocabularry but his message was tremendous. Idk . Encouraged- just to see if the defense really did impove during the bye week. Both of these involve a win Dissapointed- if our defense fails stopping the run and our offense craps themselves. This is what makes college sports great. You wont see the pros doin this. We always think about wins and losses, temper tamtrums by coaches, and players. However stories like this makes one sit back, and appreciate that there are still good people left in the sport. Condolences out to the family and good job Buckeyes.

He apparently clobbered the 225-pound Imani Cross once in an offseason practice. Fired up the whole defense. As Jamal Turner put it: “I think everyone's been hit by Charles.” Ain't seen a defender do that yet to Imani...if this kid can then there is 0 reason he hasn't seen more snaps.. For sure! Playing every snap may be risky especially if he is still learning. However putting him in in certain situation maybe fifteen twenty snaps a game Jacks could definately make an impact. Couldnt really hurt the defense at this point to rotate and try different people.

Additionally, if the Big Ten ever wants to be relevant in football again, all of the schools really need to get away from stronger (yet slower) players. Football is a speed game now. Physical players just get flagged nowadays

The only thing I miss about the Big 12 is the athletic competition. I know the B1G is expanding, and i also know theres more to life than sports, but it would be nice if teams coming in would help the football world. The Big Ten is really hurting right now as far as competitive football and Rutgers ans Maryland really dont help the matter. The sooner the football picks up, the sooner the Huskers will be back up. I just miss facing sCUm on the day after thanksgiving. Facing OU. Were trying to create rivalries out of thin air. It just doesnt work like this. We will find out in the next decade wether this was a good move for NU or not.
