Good point here. I didn't even notice it. What the heck is up with the AP poll? Nebraska loses to the #19 team by fluke miracle, and we deserve no votes, whereas Temple, Toledo, Boise St., Houston, NC State, Arkansas, and Western Kentucky all received some votes? What about the Nebraska media? No love for the home team? Man we gotta go out and punch Miami in the mouth and make a statement. Our image is not where it needs to be.

This means we should be #20 right?

On Sunday, Sept 7 2014, ESPN posted this hit piece about the B1G being a playoff bust after two weeks. I am looking forward to reading a similar story today on the SEC.

Of course, they won. They will probably move up a spot. Jacksonville State should crack the top 25 too. Don't forget about powerhouse Toledo. They should be cracking the top 25 as well.

Two weeks in a row winning this way. I think BYU is a good team, but eventually they need to step away from the ledge. Maybe they will go and put a beat down on UCLA next week.

The top 25 is meaningless. We saw it last year, it has evolved to a committee. They are all that matters, and they aren't the types to give a sh#t about the polls. That's incorrect. Just because there is a playoff committee does not mean they are not influenced by the polls. In fact, based on their early rankings last year, I suspect that that's where they start. Would you say they were incorrect on the 4 teams that made it into the playoffs last year? For the most part yes. They got it right at the end.

Tommy has thrown some great blocks. I actually think the O-line played good tonight. Whether they can hold up against stiffer competition remains to be seen.

When there is ten SEC teams in the top 25, a lot of people should care about it.

Just in case you didn't believe it, check out the front page of espn. No headlines of Arkansas getting thumped by Toledo, nor of Auburn nearly getting beat by Jacksonville St., or any headlining of Oklahoma taking out Tennessee. Total and complete bias. There is no objectivity whatsoever.

I always wondered what type of offense Scott Frost would have brought with him if he got the job here. Would he revert back to a power running game out of the I, or would he bring the Oregon high octane attack?

I think the real breakdown on the Hail Mary came after the catch, when the receiver was pulled INTO the endzone instead of being pushed away. It really doesn't matter any longer though, it's just one game. Time to move onto the next game. GBR!

This is what my line of thinking is. Valid points, all of them. I still can't believe they played the whole game without coming out once, especially with how hot it was.

These three things you mentioned I believe are the keys to a successful season. At least based on how we played against BYU.
