  1. This is exactly what I thought. And then, because I am not a Bo nor LSU fan, my next thought was, just wait until they run up against a Melvin Gordon, which is actually the weak spot in any Bo D.
  2. JD is good, not great. He had a place as a #2 receiving option in a college offense that contained and NFL #1 receiver, an NFL RB, and a dual threat QB. He struggled mightily when asked to rise into anything more. I won't buy that he was weak or didn't try, I absolutely think he gave his all while on the field. In the end he is a 5'9 receiver that lacks elite speed and will always be somewhat limited because of that. I think he felt he could be more than that and is seeking a chance to show it. I think he will find that he's a good role type player and hope he truly enjoys his senior year of football as it will likely be his last.
  3. Neither. He's never been rumored to be off the team, just back in Florida with coaches permission when there was no football to be had, combined with the snakebitten fear from the other defections that he might decide to stay there. He didn't.
  4. I've heart rumblings that Mo is still around the town and the team. Sounds like he has maybe expressed the thought that he was needing to do some work in the maturity department and is wanting to try to prove he can be what he needs to be both as a man, a student, and a teammate. Again, could be inaccurate, but if true, even though it sounds like the road to good graces is long and winding, we may still get to see what he can be yet.
  5. If I had a Dollar for every recruit we lost to Oregon....
  6. The Huskers need to thank the Big10 for Roundball Shaman...
  7. Again, none of this matters when it comes to whether or not they should have football or not. Unless you can show that athletes have a significantly higher chance of contracting the virus through football related activities as compared to non-football related activities, the point is moot. The virus is going to do what the virus is going to do to the individual, the only reason to cancel football if playing it significantly increases a players chance of catching it. Even then, at 18 they can sign up for the services, so surely they can make this decision as well. Inform them, allow them to opt out w/o penalty, and pass out the pads if that is what they want.
  8. I am sure you know it Mav, but if not, I feel it needs said. When I see the most recent post is from Sir Yacht, most of the time I won't even both to open the thread. However, when I see is Mavric, I take a pause in my day to go check out the credible worthwhile news update. Just wanted to say thank you, and keep up the great work.
  9. Honestly, lending credence to anything Sir Yacht posts is the same as playing Russian roulette with genital herpes..
  10. People also want to pile on us like we aren't good enough for the big10 because we haven't been very good for over a decade, but at the end of the day that doesn't really matter. What matters in this business is money. As a brand we bring loads of value to the b10 and, which maybe isn't currently as grand as a few others, but time is a fickle mistress and it wasn't that long ago some of the current conference leaders weren't much to talk about either. No, we haven't been great on the field, but as a program we haven't lost near as much shine as those that want us down would like us to believe.
  11. Legal basis doesn't seem all that shaky to me at all. Again, depends about how the B10 documents and agreements are set up, but if policy wasn't followed correctly I think there will be some legal fallout. That said, no way even an injunction gets us a game schedule in place any time soon.
  12. Strap on the pads and take the field imo!
  13. Releasing this is genius. It's not for current recruits at all. It's for bored 8th graders. Will put NU in their heads early. Pay off huge if we can show it on the field in 2 years. Jump starting the return of the brand. Also, after watching it, where do I sign?
  14. Edited because I was wrong.. Really wrong.
  15. This isn't fair. The bests tests in the world have 95-97% accuracy in regards to false positives/false negatives, and that is if they are run by the book correctly. So, in 1000 tests even the best tests in the world are going to have approx 40 false results. I haven't seen much to make me think these accruate covid tests are much worse than that.. I think some of them are 88% or so, but even that is on par with other acceptable tests in usage in the medical industry, so they aren't "bad" at all. And a vaccine and its efficacy has nothing to do with tests and their accuracy. A vaccine can be considered "good" even with 50% efficacy and usable at 30%. The efficacy of a vaccine has little to do with the vaccine itself, as in, the vaccine will do what it is programmed to do.. The variation in how effective it is has everything to do with the flexibility of the virus you are trying to vaccinate against. In the case of flu and covid, they are slippery little things so it may be hard to come up with a slam dunk vaccine for them, due to the fact that they are nimble, not due to the fact that vaccine makers are inept.
  16. I still think the silence from everybody speaks volumes.
  17. I am starting to think that knapplc may actually BE Kevin Warren somehow. At the end of the day, it doesn't really much matter how much he had to do with the decision or not. He will be the fall guy if it goes bad.
  18. Super surprised that Wisky would have voted no with the walk in the park schedule they were handed out of the gate. Getting them to come back and say yes may be tricky as this new 6 team home and home thing looks to be, shall we say, slightly more difficult.
  19. Gotta help saddle Warren's horse for him and see him nicely into the sunset and get somebody new in there in order to unite under leadership again.
