  1. It's a process. I do think Rhule's strategy could pay dividends - keeping a very large roster that eventually becomes 4 and 5 year seniors is something Nebraska can do. Supplementing 4* talent - even if limited - can be effective with an older, experienced roster. Can Nebraska build and maintain that roster in the era of the transfer portal? It's a risky strategy, but with Nebraska's limited recruiting base it may be the only strategy that can mitigate the Blue Chip gap.
  2. I don't hate 3* players. It's not a good strategy to have your recruiting class be 3/4ths of them.
  3. The primary difference being that, in this instance, it sets a precedent for authoritarianism. See above. Congrats on creating this. Wish I could say that it was difficult to see coming and that Trump really veered off course, but you know, decades of being a piece of s#!t kind of eliminates that excuse.
  4. Hopefully they land some talent. This recruiting class is lacking blue chip talent.
  5. At a certain point, shouldn't a person look themselves in the mirror and say "wow, I'm actually going to step in front of SCOTUS and say that attempting a coup attempt, ordering the military to commit a coup, or assassinating a political rival should be allowed by Presidential immunity. Maybe this entire political movement is f#&%ing stupid, enabled by the lowest dredges of society, and I probably shouldn't be doing this" I realize looking into the mirror and asking difficult questions is kind of difficult for a certain voter who enabled all this, but lets be honest here - Trump is a catastrophic idiot enabled by elements of society who cheer his anti-American authoritarianism on because it OwNs teH LiBs.
  6. It has a lot more to do with millions of voters who enable his behavior in the name of moronic culture war nonsense. Trump is probably going to be found to be immune from prosecution for trying to overthrow Democracy, won't end up in jail, and because the average voter is stupid beyond comprehension, he's likely to win in November.
  7. All of that seems reasonable, Trump has a 55%-60% chance to win. Those odds seem correct.
  8. So an election that's essentially a toss-up with Trump as a slight favorite? Honestly this seems pretty accurate.
  9. If my "some" you mean like 75 million, then you are correct. I still think Trump is more likely to win in November than he is to lose. Biden's poll numbers are getting better but he's nowhere near the 5% mark nationally he needs to win by in order to pull off an Electoral College victory.
  10. Pretend for a moment that you were actually grifted into voting for this pathetic excuse for a person not once, but twice. If this applies to whomever is reading this, please evaluate your political choices and disengage from political participation.
  11. It's the sign of ultimate electability - and he's owning the Libs by sleeping through the SHAM trial.
  12. I personally put very little stock in herbies hangout posts, particularly when he's using On3 Sports NIL valuations for players - numbers they completely makeup and use athletes Twitter/IG follower counts to try and come up with an NIL number. Lets be honest: the reason Nebraska struggled in the early days of NIL was because the state of the team was terrible. Scott Frost was a terrible coach and Nebraska Football was at it's lowest point. NIL dollars aren't going to be flowing. I'm not sure if that's Matt Davidson's fault. That doesn't mean what he's saying isn't true, but a lot of what he's discussing seems like collective growing pains and learning how to navigate the NIL space on the fly. I distinctly remember Oregon getting into NFTs for NIL purposes around that time as well.
  13. We all have to collectively admit that it's absolutely hilarious that the guy who dubbed his political opponent "Sleepy Joe" is falling asleep at one of his many criminal trials. Now, the irony is lost on the horde of people who have and will vote for this guy. The expectations for his supporters should be lower than you can possibly imagine. But, still, this could not be funnier.
  14. There may be smaller ones, but the biggest by far is 1890. They seem to be the one the school "unofficially" works with regarding NIL. By all accounts, 1890 is a well run NIL operation despite weird message board missgivings about Matt Davidson. If you chose to donate, most of your money will go directly towards Husker Athletics - with a small amount going towards costs to run the operation.
  15. Luckily all these GOPers know that voting by mail defaults your vote to Joe Biden. Trust me, there isn't a grift stupid enough for these people. I mean, my God, some voted for Trump twice. Can you believe that?!
  16. I think we should tell them a voting booth is laced with DEI and that a CRT immigrant is waiting to jump on them at their polling location. Scare them into staying home.
  17. I think this only appeals to the Trump base who don't really live in reality anymore. Most of these people are convinced that America is a barren wasteland infested with Immigrants, Trans people, and murderous criminals just beyond the horizon. This election is going to be decided by an extremely small number of people in 6 states that do not pay attention to politics and are angry that Beefy 5-Layer Burritos are $0.30 more expensive today than they were in 2020. Voters like this barely know anything about either candidate and chalk up most news about them as just "politics". Biden has to win huge margins of low information, low propensity voters which just may not be possible.
  18. Right, at this point, who's on scholarship and reported as such to the NCAA really doesn't matter. Nebraska will report 85 scholarship players, but may have a roster of 150. Nobody knows for sure, but a good number of 'non-scholarship' players are essentially getting NIL payouts that make the distinction between who's on scholarship and who isn't pretty vague. A non scholarship player may have their tuition, housing, extra spending money paid for as part of their deal. It's a strategy that Rhule seems to believe in, and we'll see if using NIL resources to bring in a large quantity of players is the correct approach.
  19. This just goes to show that the CHIPS Act was just a BIDEN sellout to FOREIGN Interests and he probably accepted a BRIBE because he HATES AMERICA! Donate to Trump's legal defense fund to pay a judgement against a woman he raped if you agree!
  20. Absolutely. The good thing is that violent crime across the board has been on a downward trajectory since the 1970s. As we distance ourselves from COVID, violent crime seems to be resuming it'd downward trend. There are a lot of really dumb ideas to come out of the American left, and "defund the police" was one of the worst.
  21. Absolutely bonkers considering the pro crime, anti-police, authority hating domestic policies of the Biden Administration.
  22. Really amazing considering the job killing, worker hating, anti-growth economic policies of the Biden Administration. The American public, fortunately, is smart enough to realize that merely doubling the economic performance of peer nations represents an economic catastrophe.
  23. Because they faced Obama who ran on a considerably less progressive policy goals.
  24. I understand that being grifted into voting for Trump twice had caused you to undergo bizarre, reality altering views of the world in order to reconcile your support for embarrassing morons who hate America and also happen to be anti-democracy criminals. But my God, posting RFK Jr. videos after Trump is facing 14 criminal indictments for interfering in Georgia's election and in federal elections. The cases are ongoing... and guess who's fault it is? VOTERS LIKE YOU for supporting him. We need to collectively stop coddling these voters who live in rural states and collectively place proper blame that they've given rise to Trump. These people need to be regarded with mocking and derision.
