    You want an 8 team playoff?  Well, this year you have a 9 team playoff.  Aub/Bama vs UGA.  Miami vs Clemson. OSU vs Wisc. OU vs TCU.

      I'll pass on the 8 team playoff, but it's nice that the CCGs are acting as defacto quarterfinal games, like they probably should.

      8 is a tad much, but I don't get why there are 120+ D1 football schools when not even half of them can make the playoff.
