Taking the kids (10, 7) to the zoo in Omaha on Friday before heading to the game on Saturday. First time I have been to Henry Doorly zoo in 10+ years. Anyone got and zoo tips/must see/etc?
The aquarium and swamp under the dome are my favorites. They've added an African Grasslands outdoor exhibit recently which I haven't seen yet but it might not be fun if it's cold outside.
I’d also recommend the lion feeding, those beasts are neat to watch. Also, I recommend working your way to the lion den and then catching the Skyfari back. IMO, it’s only worth a one-way trip, but is nice to look out over the zoo
