  1. Did Wilbon have any snaps vs Indiana? I don't recall seeing him at all. He had been getting a handful a game.
  2. Trap Game!!!!!111!!11!1111!!!!!! Just wanted to get that out of the way early.
  3. Disagree on Patrick. He has lost his fastball over the past few years. Good thing that I will be watching the game w/o sound in the desert this week.
  4. New Rasmussen Utah poll just out Trump 30 McMullin 29 Clinton 28 Johnson 5
  5. There is also some steam on Chris Jones possibly declaring for the NFL in January.
  6. I can only imagine what the letters to the editor look like... Probably not as bad as the lettters during Osborne's Oklahoma or bowl losing streaks. But close.
  7. That says a lot right there. No matter the competition, its hard to win 9 (or 10) out of 10 games. And we were 3-7 in the prior 10 games.
  8. updated standing (and inter-division losses) Nebraska 3-0 Iowa 3-1 (NW) Northwestern 2-1 (NU) Minnesota 1-2 (Iowa) Wisconsin 1-2 Purdue 1-2 (Iowa) Illinois 1-2 (NU, Purdue) Loser of the Iowa/Wisconsin game this week is in a world of hurt for the division. It would give Iowa 2 losses to inter division teams, and they still have to play UM and NU. Wisconsin would be sitting at 3 losses, losing the tiebreaker with Iowa.

What is up with that goofy spread punt formation where we leave the huge gaps next to the snapper? Does any other team in the county line up like that? It's the second punt we've had blocked from that formation. It's the only time I screamed at the TV all day. Baffling. Does any HS coach in the country run a spread punt formation backed up to the goal line? We got lucky it only cost us 2. Yes, a lot of teams use that punt formation. We even used it the last couple years of Bo's tenure. Remember the fake punt against UCLA where we had a 300 lb OL running with the ball trying to pick up the first down? I've never liked though. It seems too inviting to block punts with a big rush up the middle. I was hoping that Read would ditch it when the new staff moved over. And you have to have some checks (especially at the goal line) that if they line up X guys over the center you lessen your splits. And if a returner were to break through the first line, you then have 3 fat guys trying to chase him down.
  10. Unless you are Alabama, the college football season is turning into a 13 week long NCAA Basketball Tournament: Survive and Advance That is what Iowa did until the B1G title game last year, and that is what we have done through 6 games this year.
  11. We can lean on our defense if needed We can win games when bad Tommy shows up
  12. That doesnt mean anything. Harbaugh will just pull schollie offer from one of them. Agree, but the UM commits are also all ranked considerably higher than RP4 .95, .90, .89 vs .83 If anything, RP4 should be concerned about being the one tossed to the side come February.
  13. I am starting to get he sense that things might turn ugly after the election. And Trump is adding gasoline to the fire. CINCINNATI — In an arena normally reserved for ice hockey, the Donald Trump crowd was on edge. Some wore shirts with slogans like “[Expletive] Your Feelings” or, in reference to the female Democratic nominee, “Trump that Bitch.” Others had buckets of popcorn, ready for the show. When the media entourage entered, thousands erupted in boos. Anger and hostility were the most overwhelming sentiments at a Trump rally in Cincinnati last week, a deep sense of frustration, an us-versus-them mentality, and a belief that they are part of an unstoppable and underestimated movement. Unlike many in the country, however, these hard-core Trump followers do not believe the real estate mogul’s misfortunes are of his own making. They believe what Trump has told them over and over, that this election is rigged, and if he loses, it will be because of a massive conspiracy to take him down. His supporters here said they plan to go to their local precincts to look for illegal immigrants who may attempt to vote. They are worried that Democrats will load up buses of minorities and take them to vote several times in different areas of the city. They’ve heard rumors that boxes of Clinton otes are already waiting somewhere. And if Trump doesn’t win, some are even openly talking about violent rebellion and assassination, as fantastical and unhinged as that may seem. “If she’s in office, I hope we can start a coup. She should be in prison or shot. That’s how I feel about it,” Dan Bowman, a 50-year-old contractor, said of Hillary Clinton, the Democratic nominee. “We’re going to have a revolution and take them out of office if that’s what it takes. There’s going to be a lot of bloodshed. But that’s what it’s going to take. . . . I would do whatever I can for my country.” https://www.bostonglobe.com/news/politics/2016/10/15/donald-trump-warnings-conspiracy-rig-election-are-stoking-anger-among-his-followers/LcCY6e0QOcfH8VdeK9UdsM/story.html
  14. According to 247, Michigan already has 3 DEs committed.
  15. Breaking WaPo story on Trump putting his hand up a woman's skirt: Kristin Anderson was deep in conversation with acquaintances at a crowded Manhattan nightspot and did not notice the figure to her right on a red velvet couch — until, she recalls, his fingers slid under her miniskirt, moved up her inner thigh, and touched her vagina through her underwear. Anderson shoved the hand away, fled the couch and turned to take her first good look at the man who had touched her, she said. She recognized him as Donald Trump: “He was so distinctive looking — with the hair and the eyebrows. I mean, nobody else has those eyebrows.” https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/woman-says-trump-reached-under-her-skirt-and-groped-her-in-early-1990s/2016/10/14/67e8ff5e-917d-11e6-a6a3-d50061aa9fae_story.html Trump is a mf'ing pig.
  16. I was worried a lot more about this game before the season started. I don't think Indiana is sneaking up Nebraska, I think they have Indiana's undivided attention. This is where all my confidence has stemmed from as well. This team seems to stay focused on the hurdle directly in front of them and that goes a long way Plus a bye week. And they are coming off the OSU game.
