I'll eat some crow too. But I still believe that that effort was lacking in earlier games (especially Purdue). Now, can we take this same level of play on the road next week? Maybe the staff had a "come to Jesus meeting" with the team this week and that is why JS and MF left.

Anyone with roster sense would realize that the vast majority of teams have at least 28 scholarship players that are redshirting or injured. redshirts still suit up for the 105 for home games. As far as I know there is no such thing as a 105 for home games. We can suit up as many or little as we want. The 105 is only for fall camp before school starts. And the guys redshirting don't suit up. I've seen it with my own eyes at the home games this year.

It's not hyperbole if it's true. SDSU beat Kansas by 3. You also said "destroy", not favored. And no chance those teams are favored over 103 FBS teams. Utterly laughable. So because one game was close its utterly laughable? Nebraska would have multiple conference losses in the MVC. And that's a fact. You keep moving the goalposts after every one of my posts. There were rumors about Wilbon's academic status. Here is the thing (1) the coaches lied to the fans when they said Wilbon won't see the field until he pass pros (go intentions but BS) and (2) it is crap to be so damn inconsistent about who to hold accountable (not naming names, but OL, RB, and DB are not held accountable for play and one caption is not held accountable for what he says to fans). Hard pass on the accolades to the staff for this. What about Foster? Same reason he does not see the field? I'm fine with the staff not calling out players academic status to the media.

#2 - if you are talking Riley, his wife has a reaction to some chemicals used in paint (I think paint, maybe wood stain/varnish). So it took him extra long to find a house suitable for her.

#1 - there are hotels large enough, but the Huskers take the Cornhusker (at least I assume they still do). And the Embassy could hold a team, but they probably make way more money hosting the general public.

Do teams fly in/out of Omaha? Surprised they would fly out after games. There can't be more than a 10-15 minutes drive time difference between going from LNK to Embassy La Vista and OMA to Embassy La Vista. I know LNK is large enough to handle really big planes (747s, etc). Yes most teams do. As stated more options. More options for what? They aren't flying commercial.
