  1. The 1987 Blood Clot uniforms were great. 1986. And they were something
  2. Trying to find our "modern" record in all whites. Found this by Mav plus adding the last couple seasons: 1990 Citrus Bowl, all-white vs Georgia Tech. 45-21 GT 0-1 1992 Nebraska decides to wear all-white on the road. Loses to Washington 29-14 0-2 1992 vs Missouri, all-white in a 34-24 win. 434 yards passing by a 3-8 Mizzou team. 1-2 1992 Probably the best example of the all-white hex, 19-10 loss to 4-7 Iowa St. 1-3 2002 All-white road uni's...lost to Iowa State 36-14 1-4 2002 all-white, 1st loss to Oklahoma State in over 40 years. 1-5 2002 2nd biggest comeback in school history over Texas A&M. 2-5 2002 all-whites, K-State bludgeons the Huskers 49-13. 2-6 2002 Independence Bowl vs Eli Manning & Ole Miss. 27-23 loss. 2-7 2007 Nebraska goes all-white in Bill Callahan's last game 65-51 Colorado win. 2-8 These are (I think) the only games since 2007 in white??? 2014 Fresno in the heat. NU wins 55-19 3-8 2014 Northwestern against their all black alternates. 38-17 Huskers 4-8 2014 Wisconsin. 408. 4-9 2014 USC in the Holiday Bowl shootout. 45-42 Trojans 4-10 2015 Miami comeback falls short. 36-33 Canes 4-11
  3. I've stated this before, but the white top/red pants is our best looking uniform combination.
  4. This is what Ohio St was doing in the playoffs last year. They killed Bama/Oregon with the same power play all night long. It was a beauty to watch.
  5. He expounds more on his 5 observations in the article. http://www.omaha.com/huskers/barfknecht-big-ten-west-race-is-a-pick--em/article_3ff3dc9a-9b8d-573f-8591-2ee9df4f3383.html
  6. If we give up 36 points to Minnesota...
  7. 11:00 or 2:30. Won't be a night game as the B1G schedules all of those over the summer.
  8. I thought this thread was going to be about #22 Aaron Green and his game winning catch for TCU. We really could have used him this year if he had redshirted and stuck around.

  10. I heard Kevin Williams and Kevin Maurice may have been hurt. Anybody hearing anything? Williams left early but came back. I saw Stoltenburg playing DT in the 4th so maybe someone was dinged.
  11. We learned Armstong/Riley/Langsdorf know nothing about end game clock management.
  12. Just a thought, but maybe Ozigbo has practiced better?
  13. Ozigbo looks to be the #3 as he was in for a series in the 1st half
  14. Holy F is the production bad on this game. We must have espn's 8th sting guys in the truck

  16. You don't understand how breakfast and the Embassy Suites works. They have an cooked to order window to get eggs/pancakes/waffles/etc. You wait in line and tell the cook what you want, then he makes it. Then he puts it on the counter and you take it. It is not room service.I can't believe Riley is ordering his eggs over-medium. What a psycho! Everyone knows the nest eggs are done over-easy!!! Mmmmm, runny yolk. I can't believe he uses Tabasco. Seems so anti-Riley.

  18. Thanks for the work. You can just use the 247 Composite Rankings as the take into account Rivals, Scout, 247, and ESPN. That would take out an extra few steps of work. And chances are the 247 Rank you grabbed is probably already the composite as I think that is what they use to rank teams. Weighting the 247 Composite with the Scout and Rivals would add extra weight to them. Probably doesn't change things to much, but just FYI. I always thought 247 uses their own rankings and no the composite for the team rankings. The web link says Composite Team Rankings. And it the big heading says: 247 Sports Team Ranking The Chase for the Recruiting Champion powered by 247Sports Composite http://247sports.com/Season/2016-Football/CompositeTeamRankings
  19. I don't think that Bert was ever "offered". He might have been contacted or been #2 or 3 or 4 on the list if Riley turned us down. The first reports of serious talks with Bert was on Wed, Dec 3. But Eichorst and Harv where in SF meeting with Riley on Tues, Dec 2 and Wed, Dec 3. So I find it hard to believe that Bert was offered or the top choice when both our AD and Chancellor were meeting with another coach.
  20. My parents rode the elevator with Riley over the summer when they were staying at the Embassy for the Crosby, Stills, and Nash concert at the Lied. They chatted with Riley for about 5 minutes about the concert and different "old" musical acts.
